What a lovely find, great location and super staff. The hotel has a great bar, you have to try the gin cocktail, and we ate in the restaurant which was superb, try the Artichoke starter, fab u lous !!

I’m rating every hotel 1* until hotels.com stop the breakfast scam. If you pay hotels.com it is €45 pppd - it is only €30 if you pay per day at the hotel. Otherwise this hotel is amazing, my favourite hotel in Paris.

Wonderful hotel- friendly staff, clean room and facilities. Very central to things to do (can walk or take a metro). Not sure if the A/C worked well but expected in Europe. Had a street facing room and the noise was nothing some ear plugs couldn't block out. Overall great stay.

Always a warm welcome from the staff at the hotel, it’s a great place to stay. Central location and a great bed. The one thing that I noticed was a bit disappointing was the black mould in the shower. But overall a great stay as always

Not bad but keep expectations low

So, where to begin.. I guess at check-in. We arrived at 14:30 (check-in time was supposed to be at 14:00) and had to wait 20 minutes for the room. Not an ideal start especially considering that this is a 4 star hotel and not exactly cheap. Our two drinks at the barsuring the waiting time were not offered on the house. When we went to reception to get the card for the room that technically we should already have had access to 50 mins ago the card was given to us - as well as our luggage! I believe the least that they could have done given the 50mins delay after a long travel time was to put our luggage already in the room.. I guess the staff at Bachaumont thought differently :) The superior room with balcony was very nice, storage space is horrible but the bathroom and especially shower were great! The service at this hotel (reception, bar, restaurant) was not very friendly with 1 exception. Also was the first time in my life that a 4 star hotel reception refused to mail my postcard (despite of course saying that I would cover postage costs). In conclusion, not a bad hotel to stay at and very good location but not worth recommending as for the same price you get better value elsewhere in Paris since the city is full of great hotels! Not worth calling this a 4 star hotel in my opinion - hence the 3 star rating!
