The property had a great location and the view from our room was very nice. The staff were very helpful and pleasant. The room however could use a remodel. There was no mini refrigerator, no complimentary bottles of water, pillows were flat, one comfortable chair, commode was 12 inches off the floor and the sink was only 3 inches deep and didn’t drain well. This was not the quality of an elite hotel. We would not stay there again.

This hotel is old and needs and upgrade. Caulking in the bathroom showers and behind the sink was mildewy and falling off. Location fantastic! Rooms only have full size beds not Queen size which was was a major problem for us. We asked for a roll away bed to accommodate the 4 of us but we where not allowed to get one due to fire code, I would highly recommend that they upgrade to queen size beds the rooms are huge and they can easily fit. overall decent hotel

Love the people, the location and the room. The bathroom was large, clean and spacious. The bad, self parking was inconvenient with having to use a card for access. In the halls, the carpet was dirty and the doors were scratched and dirty. I was glad the inside of the room was super clean.

We had a pleasant stay at ballast, however, the room was very damp, almost as if there was water damage in the hotel. Our clothes actually felt soaked that were in our suitcase. There was no refrigerator in the room which can be a huge problem for people that require medication to be refrigerated. The staff was kind as well as the GM that we met. The Italian restaurant on site was incredible. I just wish the rooms were a little bit more updated for what you pay, they are pretty outdated. The pillows are also very flat. Will likely not stay here again.

We flew in late on a Saturday night and 1 call had the shuttle to the airport. The driver was so nice, friendly and accommodating for it being midnight! Having reserved our rooms ahead of time check in was quick and easy. Our rooms were clean and smelled good. Beds were especially comfortable The hotel is on a beautiful setting with the river right behind it where we could walk on the boardwalk and around the historic area. The patio had great relaxing seating where we chose to drink coffee and have a light breakfast from the coffee shop inside. We loved our stay and would highly recommend. Nebraska
