This is a unique lodge with a deep history and cool vibe. The redo of rooms is quite tasteful with great bathrooms, towels, beds, and in-room coffee (Nespresso!). The room is quite small though - and I would not recommend being above the valet area as it can be quite loud. Parking is free (nice) and the restaurant/bars are lovely. The grounds and trails are also nice. I am just not sure the room is worth the cost (no refridgerator/small space/no balcony).

It is a unique, historical, and beautiful hotel. It has a lot of character, located in a park, it’s got lots of nice surroundings and trails. Clean and good rooms. Well maintained. Great for a relaxing or romantic stay. Also good for conferences. We enjoyed it a lot.

The setting in the middle of a park makes it so easy to walk out the door for a hike. The restaurant is great and their coffee menu in the morning is a suprising.

Hiking trails were great. Not all facilities were open as advertised. Room was fairly sparse and we were given a room at the very very far end of the 3rd floor which seemed unnecessary since the hotel was not in a way full. Overall disappointing stay and not worth the money spent.

The setting is lush and beautiful. We loved how serene the location was, while still being in close proximity to everything we wanted to do locally. Our visit to the Seattle area was to spend time with our youngest who lives near Mill Creek. The hotel proved to be the ideal spot. Our room was on the smaller side, but still very comfortable and well-appointed. The bed was super comfortable and the tea kettle with assorted teas was a nice touch. Everything was very clean!
