Room was clean. Hallway and elevators not much. Old appliances in kitchenette. Refrigerator very loud not able to sleep because of it. Literally a ripped up old vinyl chair in room. Old infrastructure. Loud people in parking lot at night. Surprised by that thought this was a quiet suburban area. Staff was as nice as possible but this is definitely a low level grade barely basic establishment. I’ve stayed at other Sonesta in Miami and it was wonderful. These suites in Troy is like a roadside motel

Decent - This property was subpar to say the least. The staff was cool, they allow me to check in a couple hours early, and the gym was nice. However, during my stay I noticed that nobody manned the front desk manned the front desk during certain hours (more than just night time), my bed didn’t have a fitted sheet on it, housekeep didn’t change our sheets (stayed 6 nights, had to go request new sheets), housekeeping wasn’t available on the weekends (which seemed odd) so no new towels, etc. aside from that I did like the room layout.

Price and location is fine. And is in a very safe location. It has its own kitchen too. But it’s not your conventional hotel with free breakfast options and coffee.
