The layout of the hotel is really nice. It isn’t overwhelming when you walk in. The check-in process is really smooth with great service. The restaurant/bar offerings are vast. The rooms are spacious, clean, and updated.
I loved all the food options downstairs, it was definitely a huge plus. It was clean and comfortable. The location was amazing! Just to be aware, make sure to note that some rooms don't have fridges and will charge a fee if you end up in a fridge-less room.
Another good experience. My wife likes the food choices, especially the sandwich place within the hotel lobby, the name escapes me, sorry.
Friendly employees and clean facility. Secret of the stay though is, stay on the 26-34 floor 😬
The room was really clean , we asked one of the cleaning girls if they could clean are you while we were having breakfast and they did we came back that was really clean. Thanks so much.
The room was clean and the staff was very helpful and kind. The room didn't have a fridge or coffee maker but my fault for not checking before booking. Overall, we had a wonderful visit.
Our room was very clean, our housekeeper was absolutely the best I have ever had at any hotel ever! She was amazing! The hot tub wasn’t a hot tub at all. It’s a jacuzzi tub argue bathtub with jets) lol. We donned some swim suits and used it once to soak our feet after all the walking on day one in Vegas. The hotel has absolutely everything you could want to eat, drink, and play. This was a wonderful experience and I highly recommend New York, New York!
The room was clean and spacious, quiet except for the rollercoaster ride outside our windows. The rides went on till about midnight. At 6:30 am we were woken up by window cleaners. We saw the notice the night before so it wasn’t a surprise. Bathrooms and shower were very spacious. Clean. I don’t have any complaints. Stay was good. Easy self check in/out. Covered parking for 24 hours. It was convenient for us during our stay.

We’ve stayed here in the past and everything was very good. This time NOT. Literally nothing extra in room. No mini frig. No microwave. Empty slots for both.
No facial bar soap. And the body wash and shampoo smelled organically MALE - made me gag and I’m female. My husband didn’t even like the smell. I’m glad I brought a little of my own. This room was nicely decorated with a New York vib and very clean.
On top of that, they charged us $20 to park in the self serve onsite garage and they do not waive this fee for hotel patrons.

Something that has become a trend with Las Vegas hotels is the “resort fee” which is just a deceptive way to get more money from you and I think it sucks! Just show me a price and honor it! Also room service, the front desk , concierge were virtually impossible to reach, also charging guests to park is lame! “Guests”? Come on now…the marquee suite is pretty cool, I would prefer entering into the living room area not the bedroom … the hot tub was cool, the towels were really nice big and soft the shower sucked and the tub drain didn’t work very well…. And finally NY city in Vegas has no pizza onsite? Come on!
What I like about the property is that it is not too huge and it was easy to get around. There are many delicious restaurants in the property. Appreciate that America is open 24 hours - we had 3 early breakfasts there. Chin Chin had a very good AYCE breakfast/brunch buffet plus the best Chinese dinner! Nine Fine Irishmen had the decadent bread pudding which we paired perfectly with an Irish coffee. The Times Square bar had the awesome dueling piano performers. The meat balls and pizza were good at Sirrico's. Greenburg's Deli had the best huge sandwiches. Lucky Pig had the trio of bao buns. Hello Kitty outside the hotel had the strawberry Bruno Mars cookie! Luke's Lobsters has the generous portions of lobsters in their rolls. To satisfy our sweet tooth - Cinnabon and Haagen Daz were there for the win. Next time we will try Hershey's milk shakes and cookies and dine at Gallagher's for the tomahawk steak. Our room was spacious and clean. And we like the fact that we can get an UBER right in front of the hotel and don't have to walk down to the basements of other hotels to avail of one. We love New York New York and will definitely be back!!
We ran into several issues during our stay. First, the room did not have a mini fridge. My understanding after checking in was that some rooms come with a fridge and some do not. However, this was not clearly stated anywhere during booking. We were offered a rental at $20 per day after check in, but declined and opted to bring in a small ice chest of our own instead (which was inconvenient and frustrating).
Second, the AC in our room was broken. We waited almost a full day for the service technician to come check it out. The service technician was very friendly and helpful. He remarked that he didn't know how we had waited so long as the heat in our room was unbearable. He recommended a room change for us to the front desk and gave us a coupon to use. But otherwise, the hotel offered no accommodations for the inconvenience. A discount on our stay would have been appreciated since our room was over 80 degrees for half of our 3 day stay and we were miserable. Not to mention the inconvenience of having to change our room mid-stay.
Third, our room card did not allow exit from the parking garage on several occasions. Twice I had to stand in line at the front desk and have my room cards reset to allow proper exit, which was frustrating. Both times, the person at the front desk was not very friendly and almost seemed bothered to have to assist me, rather than apologetic for the inconvenience as expected. Again, we were not offered any accommodations for this inconvenience either.
Excellent location on the Strip.
Clean, renovated rooms.
Many restaurants and bars inside the hotel.
Fun New York City theme and the Big Apple roller coaster.
Good value compared with many nearby Strip hotels.
We had a great time. It’s a fun resort with tons of great restaurants. The room was nice and very clean. The desk clerks were extremely rude when we tried to check in. The resort fees are BS.
