The kitchen is very well equipped, the beds are very comfortable, and the house systems are easy to use (check-in, heating, washer/dryer, dish washer). “The cabin looked like the ad but with quite a bit of snow. Perfect location for skiing at Palisades and Alpine. Kitchen was not as well equipped with limited supplies. We asked about grill and were told it was not available but then were invited to use the neighbors. Bed was extremely comfortable. We were very appreciative of the addition glasses left.”

“Needed for older people: Safety strips in shower. Extra step bottom of stair case. Rise is difficult. Photo does not show the occupant entry which has a steep stair case.”

“This location was centrally located in Tahoe Vista directly across the street from the lake. The views were stunning. The house was beautifully decorated and came equipped with comfortable beds. I highly recommend this property!”

“Beautiful Lakefront Escape for a Large Family Gathering. My family of 9 adults and 1 toddler stayed at House of the Stars over the holidays to celebrate my dad's 80th birthday. The host was extremely accommodating, allowing us an early check-in so we could settle in before the celebrations began. The home was immaculately kept and had everything we needed to feel comfortable as a large group. The kitchen was well-stocked with all the pots, pans and appliances necessary to cook multiple meals……

“Great place. Fun game room with pool table. Well-equipped kitchen. Nice hot tub and plenty of bathrooms. Need to bring own soap/shampoo. Super market within a mile on main road-close to S Lake Tahoe if you like that. Multi-levels, so if steps are a problem, not your place, but no problem for us.”
