"Dramatic style. Needs a shelf in the bathroom. Needs easier to understand controls in larger print. Temp very warm in bathroom, cool in bedroom. 1min to main walking and shopping street, 5 mins walk to train station, very convenient. Imaginative space, lots of room in bathroom. Nice kitchen. The table abd 2 chairs are in a cramped space. Candies aka sweeties are a nice touch. I prefer hard sweeties. Creative use of self-book in. I had to be helped by a neighbour."

"Listing stated whole apartment & listed things included. It was an apartment, just a room & very sparse. No chair, table, shelves, shaver socket or kettle. Nowhere to put your bag etc unless on floor. Nowhere to put your toiletries. Really feel misled, will never be going back."

"Contacted property manager and Vrbo the day before to enquire about accessing the property. Received no response. Called the owner at 9.15 on the day. He sounded confused but raised no issue, so I got on with my day. Received a text after 10.30 to say the property was not available! Apparently vrbo had not coordinated the availability. Host offered to book us into a local hotel…. Not ideal as we could have done that ourselves (and chosen a better hotel) but we had plans with friends and dinner...

"Everyone enjoyed the comfortable atmosphere of Fletcher Hall with so much to do. The pool and games room were well used, especially by the children. It was warm and well equipped. The host recognised the occasions we were celebrating & left a few nice surprises. It is close to Lytham & St. Anne’s, which are lovely places to visit. We only had one issue which we discussed with the host, and will hopefully be addressed."

"Spring Cottage was a great base for us while we were up in the area visiting friends. The cottage is cute and cozy and had everything we needed for a weekend stay. The Trawden Arms is a short walk away and does good food and there are loads of great walks in the area. The host, Alex was very friendly and helpful."

"The property is a wonderful little find. The hosts are very friendly and made us feel very welcome. The apartment is spotlessly clean and lots of little treats in both the kitchen and bathroom. Barry was extremely responsive to our emails prior to our visit. We were unfortunately delayed on transport when visiting Manchester. "We stayed here for a week during May 2023. The Bungalow was a great location for us. Peace and quiet when we wanted it and close to Blackpool and other seaside locations when we wanted them. The Bungalow was clean, safe and perfect for our break. The owner was quick in communication and friendly throughout the booking process and the actual stay."
