The grounds of the property are absolutely stunning! The only issue that my wife and I ran into was there were 2 people on staff that ruined our experiance. One was a front desk attendant that made us feel like we were hasseling them when we asked to book transportation, wine services and asked questions. Everytime we talked to them the roller their eyes, then helped us. We also rented electic bikes from this person. They showed us how the locked worked, but not how to turnon the bikes and use them. We had to get a maintenance guy, who was amazing, to help us. He noticed that all the bike tires were flat and he pumped them up. Unfortunetly, my bikes breaks did not work, which I learned at the bottom of the hill. I could not be on the bike, hold down both breaks and easily push the bioe forward spinning the tires. The other person was a server that would not deal with us because we did not speak Italian. We were doing our best and tried to use Google Translate as much a possible. Even with our attempts, during dinner they switched our table with another server. That is all good, but we did not get service for over 50 minutes, and our orginial server did not tell us about the change and would just walk past our table ignoring us. For us spending over $500/night and over $200 on dinner, the service was far lacking. I would not suggest this location unless you speak Italian, have a car and don't have any questions.

The individual chalets were comfortable and clean. The resort is a little off the beaten track and for those who enjoy sitting by the pool the facilities are excellent. If you enjoy walking there are amazing 'gentle' climbs on good footpaths - we are aged 73 and 74 and loved the exercise and fresh air. Concurris underplays this aspect of their facility and does not have walking maps available but if sitting by the pool is not your thing then leave the main gate and turn left for amazing views. The food is excellent and plentiful so don't forget to pack some good trainers - Climbing boots are not necessary.

Great relaxing hotel to get away from it all!
Everything about this hotel was great. We stayed in a suite which was spacious and had a nice terrace which offered great views. A car is required as it is located on a hill a couple of km away from the nearby town of Villasimius which has a wide selection of restaurants and some nightlife. The area is fantastic with several great beaches all within 20min drives. Staff were all friendly and helpful. Everything was clean with daily room service. Breakfast is also good with plenty to choose from. We had dinner once which was pretty good. Bear in mind that on busy periods you need to book ahead for dinner as many guests take half board and so not many tables are usually available. Parking on site was adequate although if you get back late in the evening you may have to park outside as spaces are filled up. Possible improvements: 1.Maybe supply more sun beds and parasols by the main pool or manage the ones they have better as some residents like to hog them all day by placing towels on them, then disappearing! 2.The drinks are far too expensive. 3.More power outlets would also be preferable as most people have a variety of devices with them these days!

Fantastic hotel
Fantastic hotel . Its small and quiet would suit couples . The staff couldn't do enough to help . I would recommend the half board option as this is a different 4 course meal every night . I would also suggest car hire as it is remote but that is the charm of the hotel. In saying that you can walk to Campus beach (which is across the road) in 20 mins. We will definitely be going back

Nice hotel which provides a quiet and relaxing getaway to those wanting some peace and quiet with stunning views. Resort was visibly clean and grounds were well maintained. At were friendly and always available to help. Resort does not have a hot tub/jacuzzi though advertised and the water in the 2 pools were freezing when we visited which made it impossible to use (which was a shame as they looked clean and enticing -just not enticing enough!). Being away from the town, you do need to have a car as taxis were quite expensive. Hotel bar and restaurant were nice and the cocktails especially so. Breakfast was great with a wide range of options.

Beautifully kept property with lovely gardens, 2 large pools, clean & bright dining areas and a short drive to multiple beaches. one beach within walking distance. Staff are really friendly & the rooms are beautifully clean with excellent beds. Hotel prices for drinks are quite expensive but that's always the case with nice hotels. It was quiet & peaceful during our stay, perfect!

2nd visit to this quiet oasis.
This is the second time I have chosen to stay at the Cruccuris Resort and I never usually go back to the same place twice! I know Sardegna well and this hotel is ideally situated for the stunning beaches of the south east of the island, is a 5 minute drive from the lovely town of Villasimius, whose streets come alive at night with bustling tourists, local market stalls a beautiful restaurants and is within easy reach of the capital, Cagliari via coastal road and/or new motorway. The hotel itself is nestled up a typical Sardinian dirt track part way up into the hills giving an enviable mountain and sea view but without the price tag of a beachfront hotel! It has beautifully manicured lawns and landscaping and the rooms are mostly all tucked away so the hotel seems even smaller than it really is. There are two pools. The main one is really quiet, even in August and is next to a lively outdoor bar. The slightly smaller pool diwn on the lawn is even quieter! If you visit Sardegna you’ll want to hire a car and visit the stunning beaches but the hotel pools offer a welcome restbite from driving or the option of an early morning or evening dip before or after a day at the beach. The staff aff are all extremely friendly and excellent at what they do. Reception, waiting, gardening and cleaning staff are all fantastic and the service they provide is excellent. Breakfast is well stocked and provides good choice. A highly recommended stay.

Cruccuris Hotel an Oasis
From the minute we arrived at Cruccuris hotel to the last day the staff made us feel so welcome. Beautiful setting in the hills, for us a 20 minute walk to the beach. Peaceful, rooms not overlooked & with views, clean, roomy, fresh white towels. pools perfect, one extra long, great for a proper swim. Grounds extremely well laid out, plenty of different areas to rest & views all round. Food was excellent, fresh & local. we were only B&B to start, but after the first evening's meal and the next mornings breakfast we (and all the other guests) eagerly looked at the menu for what delicious fare was on offer that day, too good to resist. For us B&B with the optional choice of evening meals, worked best & to limit how many courses we ate! Totally relaxed holiday, didn't want to leave. Wonderful experience

Wonderful Exceptional Hotel
My second visit. We had a wonderful 7 night stay. This is a perfect hotel in every way. The rooms, staff; grounds, breakfast included, oversized beach towels, location .......... beds and pillows. Free parking. Wonderful mosaic tiled swimming pools. The staff is outstanding. A ten minute drive to many beaches and restaurants. This is a hidden gem. We found it best not to get half board but to eat dinner at many wonderful restaurants in and around Villasimius. Lunch is served poolside. The only suitable rating is EXCEPTIONAL.

Cannot fault the Hotel except for the food which was good but not brilliant. Receptionists wonderful, waiters great and cleaners very kind. The hotel has decor which is individualistic and interesting and two pools which are great. Very good holiday and with the benefit of Hotel Stella Maris and its beach, very enjoyable

Great base to explore the area
I can highly recommend the Cruccuris Resort as a base to explore the surrounding area.The only down side is the quality of the evening meal which we only tried on the first night as it seems its prepared earlier and heated up on site, but there is more then enough other great places to eat in the near location.

Lovely hotel with excellent service
Two pools, one by the main hotel and bar and the other in the gardens. Short drive from Villasimius and lots of great beaches. Good breakfast buffet and very nice food in the evenings. Highlight though, was really wonderful service - reception, restaurant, bar and everyone you run into around the hotel: so friendly and helpful. A visit to sister hotel, Stella Maris, was also very enjoyable and service similarly great. Recommend the sailing trip too, great day out.

Great short holiday in Sardinia
Four night stay, hotel is very comfortable although remote. Rental car is highly desirable as taxi anywhere is minimum €15. Ate once in restaurant which was just ok. The reception staff were superb and friendly and able to help arrange restaurants etc and were particularly helpful with tracking a lost item at airport. Barman at poolside bar was a great character and a pleasure to sit there after a hard day on the beach!!

A hidden gem in the hills..
A lovely hotel, a little off the beaten track mind. The hotel is located of a dirt track with poor signage so keep your eyes pealed. Other than that I have no complaints. The hotel is spotless, breakfast was nice- a good selection of pastries and fruit. Reception staff are always happy to help and attentive. I couldn't fault the hotel. It was just my husband and I spending some quality time together but next year we plan to return with the kids. The resort was lovely and the local beaches are amazing. Villasimus is a little gem!

Beautiful resort
You do need a car to get around island, and directions to the nearby beaches were not very clear. Otherwise a most enjoyable short stay with good amenities at the resort.

Good hotel with lovely garden
Overall we had a very enjoyable stay at this hotel. Close to the harbour and local beaches, but a car is essential. The staff were very helpful and friendly and our room was spacious and clean. There were just a few niggles, firstly, we were unable to use our terrace because of the abundance of mosquitoes. Secondly most of the rooms on the ground floor have terraces which were obscured by large plants and bushes keeping out the sunshine and thirdly the breakfast although good and adequate never changed over our three week stay. Having said that we would still return to this hotel.

Very Good Hotel
The hotel is very well presented and immaculately clean with two pools and well maintained gardens. Has the feel of a desert oasis as it is accessed by a dirt road, not lit at night, and surrounded on three sides by steep hills with a view down to the sea on the fourth. Inside the walled and gated enclosure all is green and peaceful. The staff are friendly, helpful and obviously at ease in their job and with each other. Although English is spoken at reception you may find that some waiting staff don't speak it. This is not a criticism merely an observation. Our bedroom was spacious and clean as was the bathroom. Breakfast and dinner are taken on the terrace overlooking one of the two pools and is a very pleasant experience. At breakfast there was the usual typical hotel selection of fruits, cereals, yoghurts, ham and cheese, pastries, cakes and biscuits. Also a hot option of boiled egg, scrambled egg and bacon. The food at dinner was of a good standard although there are a number of restaurants in the vicinity should you wish a more varied or authentic experience. You will need transport there and back though. Occasionally there is live music. All in all a peaceful and relaxed holiday experience in this remote corner of Sardinia.

Beautiful resort close to beaches
When we arrived we were greeted by Massimo, the night receptionist who enthusiastically welcomed us to the resort. The staff friendliness was outstanding and consistent throughout our stay. Each morning the staff provided a delicious and varied breakfast buffet with fresh fruit, deli meats, breads, yogurts, juices, and more. When we had a special occasion and had to order a birthday cake, the hotel management eagerly assisted us with our surprise. The rooms were spacious, clean, quiet, and comfortable, with large bathrooms and oversized terraces overlooking the sea and mountains. Two pools, just a stone's throw away from our room, were immaculately kept with fresh towels available, a poolside bar, and even water-fountains and jacuzzis. We were impressed by the landscaping, which features palm trees, enclosed gazebos, indoor and outdoor lounge areas, and local flora. The location of the hotel was perfect for our stay. We drove just a few minutes to reach some of Sardinia's best beaches and the marina, where tourists can rent boats. The price of the hotel is very reasonable and offers good value for money. We definitely plan on returning again, hopefully in the near future!

No need to search! Our hotel in Villasimius!
Two years ago, we were at romantic Cruccuris and got really impressed with the comfortable installations and good service. We recommended it to friends and decided not to search for another place when we returned to Sardegna. We were happy to have the same special service, to see the place keeps its attractiveness and good service, including in the restaurant (as we had half board). Some nights there is live music during dinner and you can also drive to the little village of Villasimius to do some shopping. You'd better have a car as the hotel is not on the beach. But again, it's a good idea to go to Costa Rei and for that, you will need a car, anyway. This is our home in South Sardegna. I hope it becomes yours!

Lovely, quiet hotel, in a stunning location
The 'Cruccuris Resort' sign is painted on a large rock indicating the unmetalled lane you have to take, but it is pale and easy to miss; look out for the Via Cruccuris signpost carefully. If you are on the coast road, driving towards Villasimius, the Resort is on the left, before you reach the town. The Resort is beautiful, quiet, friendly and the scent from the flowers and surrounding vegetation is delicious. I stayed in a first floor room with a balcony, which looked out over the hills, with a view of the coast in the distance - just lovely. If you enjoy making yourself a cup of tea, you will need to bring a travel kettle and t-bags. I bought a carton of milk from the bar and stored it in my room's mini-bar fridge. The breakfast buffet and good, as was the evening meal - I ate at the hotel twice. There are good pizzerias and restaurants in Villasimius, along with some amazing gelaterias. There are also a few mosquitos, so a mosquito coil to burn on the balcony or a plug-in for the room, and some body spray would be useful. The air-conditioning settings are controlled by reception, but they are very happy to alter them for you - just ask.

Nice clean resort
This resort is set back from the beach but is clean and nice. We didn't particularly like having half board as we prefer to eat out. The receptionist recommended Punto Molentis beach to us but we never were able to find it. Reading on the internet, we learned that is a fabulous beach but hard to find and not well signed posted. She could have given us more specific directions, i.e. kilometers from Villasimius or the sign to look for. We wasted a lot of time looking for it and never found it.

Hidden gem
After a few minor detours we found the hotel which is in a secluded position a mile or so from Villasimius. It was very quiet as the season was coming to an end and we decided to opt for half board. The food was very good both at breakfast and dinner with several choices available. The antipasti deserves a special mention due to the variety each day. The room was spacious and clean and wi-fi was available in the public areas. All the staff were very pleasant and helpful. We mainly visited the areas beautiful beaches and each day a beach towel is given which is a nice touch. Overall a brilliant hotel for anyone who wants a tranquil break. A car is a must for this excellent location.

Friendly, clean hotel in stunning location
Great hotel and would highly recommend. Due to location, would recommend hiring a car but you can get about by bike. Secure car park which is good. Staff were very friendly and made us feel welcome. The communal areas are excellent, although it would have been nice if the pools were heated. Exceptionally clean room. Food was ok (breakfast was good) but plenty of places to eat locally in the evenings. Overall we had a lovely break and would return.

Didn't meet expectations.
On arrival it was obvious the beach was not 'a stones throw' from the resort as stated in it's own brochure. The resort although is in beautiful landscaped gardens is a good 25 minute walk away and at the end of what can only be described as a dirt track with no street lighting other than around the resort itself. The staff, however, were both friendly and attentive without being intrusive and our room was serviced daily with clean towels etc. The hotel, is however, as other visitors have described 'expensive' as a drinks bill in excess of £200 for mainly non-alcoholic drinks was paid out for 2 over 10 days. There was also no tea or coffee facitities in the room. The hotel is definitely not for anyone without their own transport which we did not have. It is an hour almost to the nearest town walking and as we found out - no bus shuttle from mid September. We were also advised not to go walking out at night due to a lack of street Iighting on the main road we would have to walk along. The sister hotel - The Stella Maris is almost 4 km away. However, although we would have been able to use the pool there and the beach we would have to pay, which we found out, 15 euros each per day to step on to the beach and use facilities. The food, although completely edible was extremely repetative with all courses not giving enough choice. Water and coffee at dinner was chargeable. In conclusion, this is a resort charging 4/5* prices but not giving what British people expect.

Peace, perfect peace
We wanted a break from the hurly burly and that is exactly what we had. The hotel is in a beautifully calm situation, nestled in the hills back from the coast and set in gloriously maintained gardens. It is small and intimate but our room was spacious and had a lovely covered patio area overlooking the gardens, where we enjoyed our afternoon tea -very English. The quirky layout of the rooms dotted about the gardens was like a little village. We found it a very well run hotel with exceptional and friendly staff who gave the impression that we and our comfort were of paramount concern. The food was excellent and we swapped to half board as there was no incentive to forage elsewhere -the dining room was charming, overlooking the main pool, with a view of the sea beyond the palm trees. The Cruccuris Resort is a fair distance from the village of Villasimius and would require a bicycle or car to access the village or beautiful beaches as the walk is along a main road but car hire is reasonable and bicycles are available to hire at the hotel. We spent our idle moments designing a pool heating system as the pools in May were disappointingly chilly! It is our only criticism of the hotel's facilities and doubtless a little further into the year the pools will be warmed by the sun. We would confidently recommend this charming hotel to anyone wishing a quiet retreat in the sun but it is definitely not for the raucous clubbers!

Great hotel
Had a great stay at this fantastic hotel. Staff were very welcoming and always helpful on recommendations about what beaches to visit and which restaurants to eat at. Had dinner on our first night at the hotel, they had a choice for every need. Breakfast was plentiful and again the dining staff were great. The poolside was nice and quiet, definitely a relaxing, peaceful resort if you're looking for a nice quiet break.

Nice quiet but remote hotel
We enjoyed our stay at Cruccudis resort. Lovely hotel, very friendly staff but location was a little remote and a car would be recommended if you want to get out and about. The town was a good 30 minute walk along a main road although it was possible to hire bikes and cycle to town and other local beaches and Marina. Courtesy transport to the sister hotel Stella Maris which gave access to a private beach was possible however a tariff of Euros 15 per person was payable for a sunbed and umbrella. So courtesy transport came at a price. Over an hour ride to airport in private taxi costing 95 Euros each way. Very peaceful and good if you want to just chill in a nice hotel. No other facilities at hotel eg gym or tennis courts etc. 15/20 minute walk to nearest beach.

A lovely couple's hotel.
The hotel is very peaceful and relaxing. It's tucked away along a quiet lane, so hire car essential. Perfect place for a romantic getaway. The staff make everyone feel welcome and the food is excellent.

Good but expensive
Very smooth pool area(s), and the rooms were clean and great but stiff price (over 240€ per night)! Expensive drinks, around (9€) per drink, and they weren't THAT good. In Villasimius drinks cost around 6-7€, with a few exceptions that are more expensive. Should have had a better a la carte lunch menu, and variety in general.. Only edible lunch (we didn't have full board) was toast. Location is 4 km from Villasimius, and taxi costs 15€ each way to the centre. Apart from that Cruccuris was excellent, the staff spoke english better that most other places we stayed, and the service was good.
