Folks around the facility, the back parking lot in particular, were a bit sketchy at times but there was locked underground parking and the front desk staff were amazing.

I had booked 2 rooms at the hotel for 2 nights and 3 days. I was very disappointed after finding a long hair on the towel inside the washroom. One of the rooms garbage was over filling and had the card left on the door. I asked the cleaning worker who was outside couple rooms down in the afternoon while leaving the room requesting to pick up the over filling garbage which was full inside. The worker said to have the card in the right position which i made sure it was. Returned back at night and found the garbage bins still full. Went to the front desk next day who said he would get it done, which again was not done again. Then was asked by the front desk guy to put it outside and he would come and pick up, again that did not happen. Its a convenient location but i was with my parents who were visiting from Toronto who did not enjoy the stay there. Very disappointed after spending soo much money booking two rooms but the service was below par. I would not recommend this hotel if you are taking your family.

Overall good experience, didn't like that $150 security deposit not credited back to card upon checkout as I was told, does not take 5 business days to credit back. Could use more than 2 chairs in pool area! Staff was pleasant and nice.

For a one night stay with pool and hot tub being close to downtown Victoria, it is a great option. I would not stay more than 2-3 nights as it offered the basics as a hotel. I am happy we booked the kitchenette room just to have some extra space for a group of 4 people. They can definitely improve on the toiletries they offer if it is a larger group of 4; and also ensure there are plenty of towels.
