This is an amazing find -Best location possible -20 paces from St marks [so easy to find] view over the Gondola resting place - Reception staff impeccably helpful -It has its own hotel bar which is unusual in the smaller hotels and . OK -the room was smallish -but you don't go to Venice to hang around in your room . I booked last minute and thought there must be a catch -the price was so good ! I have stayed in Many places in Venice and this is by far the best for the money .

Perfect location. Water taxi will not deliver you to hotel but you can schedulr through the front desk for one to pick you up.

We loved our stay at this hotel. The location was perfect for walking to everything, and a short walk from the pier. The staff very helpful! It was our first time in Venice and we had lots of questions and they helped us out with everything.

The hotel is absolutely charming. The service impeccable. The only issue was that there was scaffolding in front of our window so there was no view. But the stay was wonderful and the concierge service was fantastic.

Location was great near St Marks Square. Breakfast in the hotel was good Plenty of restaurants nearby. Danillo at the hotel reception was very welcoming. Recommend this hotel we stayed for 3 nights.

The rooms were a little tired and could use an update. The location is great, canal is next door. Easy walking distance to St. Marks square and all the historic locations around the area. Breakfast was typical European buffet. Getting to and from the airport and cruise ship terminal is a long and expensive ride.

Overall a very nice property with helpful and friendly staff. Only issue was the air conditioning in the room wasn't working very well and it was a bit warm.

Everything was good except for the shower. You’d either have scalding hot water or cold water. It was very hard to get the perfect temperature. Besides that, everything was amazing!

The hotel is old and in some disrepair. The staff were mostly pleasant and helpful. The free breakfast was well worthwhile. However, if it were not for the charms of Venice in general, and the hotel's location (just off Saint Mark's Square) seemed over-priced and 3-4 stars not 5.

Been a couple times to Venice and this is not a 4 star hotel by any means. Heating wasn’t working and they said they had shut down due to overload. At peak hours, shower varies temperature. Rotting doors. Location is great. I can’t think of best location, but the hotel is completely overrated.

Great location, bar had a wonderful view of the Gondala’s, breakfast was very good. Bathroom was a good size. Bed and pillows were not very comfortable.

It is very close to St Mark’s Square. Easy access to all the lovely winding streets, quaint restaurants and many shops. Felt very safe during the day and at night.

Location is great. Very close to main plaza. Rooms are tiny. Showers very tight. Elevators are very small. I called ahead of time to make a request and felt like they didn’t care about my needs. Hotel staff not very flexible or caring. Would not stay here again.

The hotel is well-situated, close to many shops and transportation. However, the air conditioning does not work. We were advised to open the windows to allow air into the room but then the noise coming from the outside was unbearable and hence had to close the windows despite the heat.
