"We stayed at the Beatrix for a week in July 2015. We wanted a base to explore Garda whilst being able to walk into Bardolino in the evenings. The apartment was on the 2nd floor with a balcony off each room. We found the apartment basic and fairly clean although the bathroom could have been a little cleaner (toilet brush was disgusting) and the bathroom had a horrible smell. "This property is pretty but a bit far away from the main areas and tourist attracts. Night time is very quiet with no one around. It is perfect if you want to be able to walk to the touristy areas in the day and return back to quiet at night. Rooms were large and clean, our room wasn’t modern like in the photos which I was expecting but had a kitchenette and a large bedroom. Staff was very lovely and very helpful! "

"This is such a great place to stay!! Yes it seems old but well taken care of. We had a canal view room with a balcony, it was a winner!! The room was spacious and clean. Staff were helpful with the luggage. Breakfast wasnt too bad either, could be a bit better but still great. Had good variety but quality was a bit low. AC in the room could use a repair, at some points it wasnt cold. Wifi was great. Location was very convienent, right next to the train station which meant we didnt carry any luggage upany stairs. We walked everywhere from that location, lots to see."
