Casa Ellul is a small gem with an excellent restaurant. The chef was able to devise an outstanding dinner for us based on our vegan requirements. The staff were extraordinarily helpful, even coming around a tea time with treats. The location is in the historic part of Valleta but is still very quiet. Recent renovations have restored the character of the building with a modern touch.

Staffs were wonderful.. Hazel and crew. Were very nice.. However: my booked rooms roof was leaking. Second room#5 was the best. The third nights room had smells and had to climb to my sleeping area. Middle of the night had to find my way down to the washroom going steep stairwells….

This sweet little boutique hotel within Old Town Valletta met our needs perfectly for three nights prior to boarding a cruise ship. They can arrange a shuttle from the airport for you so that door-to-door access is possible. Outstanding restaurant in-house (Risette). Great staff. We absolutely loved it.

So nice, we stayed twice!

We loved this boutique hotel so much, we came back twice in the same month. The staff are friendly, efficient, and welcoming. The rooms have a lot of character while also being quite comfortable. The included breakfast was also excellent and made to order. Our entire stay was cozy, relaxed, and we felt well cared for.

Top Tier Stay! Everything about my stay here was fantastic. The staff were exuberant. The location was central yet quiet. The rooms were comfortable and had character. The complimentary breakfast was made to order and quite tasty. Casa Ellul was one of the best stays I’ve had in a very long time and I would absolutely recommend it to anyone traveling to Malta.

Casa Ellul felt comfortable, and the owner Matthew Ellul and his staff work hard to have their guests feel at home. Their rooms are well appointed, spotlessly clean, and comfortable. Their restaurant is top shelf and the chef creates a wonderful "tasting menu", if you want to experience the next level in fine dining. I highly recommend that you experience all the comforts of Casa Ellul for your trip to Malta.

This is a small, centrally-located gem in the walled city of Valletta! My room featured creative details and a large bathroom, which more than made up for the interior view. The restaurant offers an ambitious (and delicious) dinner menu and an extensive breakfast. The most delightful aspect of the hotel: Alfredo, who went out of his way to help with my itinerary, free street parking, and even breakfast!
