Great Location near North Star ski resort
Cozy home. Needs a bit of updating. For example the cookware was in bad shape. No lighters or matches to get the wood burning fireplace going. The promoted games in game room, some were broken. Other wise a good place to stay with family.

Traditional Tahoe cabin
Spent a week here during an awesome snow week. They had sleds and shovels available for us to play in the snow. Cabin is cozy with a downstairs “kids room” with multiple bunks. Place was clean, heating worked well, though downstairs was cooler, electric blankets helped keep downstairs sleepers warm at night. Kitchen a little antiquated with electric burners, but otherwise well stocked. Super convenient to catch the free shuttle to Northstar to ski. We had 5 awesome days of hitting the slopes!

Cute little cabin. Great location. Good price. Needs a little tlc but still good.
We loved this little cabin. It was a great location, beautiful neighborhood, short walk to the Northstar Village, access to Recreation Center with lots to do. The unit was clean but there were a few things that I think they could do better on. I wish they would include some extra and basic essentials. Bath rugs: There are no bath rugs for when you get out of the shower to prevent standing on a wet floor. Extra Bath Towels: We wished you would include some extra towels in the unit. There was only one per person hanging on the wall but if we had more people we would need more. Soap: Only some of the bathrooms had soap in them Toilet Paper: There was no extra toilet paper beyond the one roll These are things we consider travels should not have to bring with them and are expected to be in the unit same as staying in a hotel. There was a bug infestation in the laundry room downstairs but other than that the unit was still clean. They sent out pest control after we left I believe. Overall we loved this cabin. It was just right for our needs. It would be 5 stars if it included the basic toiletries and had the pests taken care of prior. We would be willing to stay here again. I hope they take care of those things prior.

Great Location
The proximity of this cabin to the Northstar slopes was a great perk. The house was spacious and equipped with pretty much anything you could need. There's a garage to park in. The driveway is treacherous in icy weather and were covered with icy snow upon arrival. The steps up to house were dangerous with ice/snow packing them. The cabin reminded me of my Grandma's house when I was young. Some would say it is ready for some updating but I enjoyed the retro feel of the cabin. It was very comfortable and was located close to the slopes so we were happy.

Softball Team loses out
The house accommodated our sleeping, showering and washing of uniforms. We were unfortunately, not happy with the condition of the cooking utensils (frying pans), cleanliness of the carpet, and the temperature of the home during the 98 degree heat wave. We needed to open the house up at night which brought in these strange beetle bugs. Not to mention being hyper vigilante of bears. We were really looking forward to using the Northstar Rec pool but there were no directions on how to even access it. A real bummer.

Needs Refurb
There is absolutely nothing wrong with an older establishment…but, steps should be taken to properly maintain. Extremely staind carpet throughout…weathered linoleum…all appliances are circa 1970, wallpaper is peeling, furniture is badly worn…drains in shower do not drain (we cleaned twice). The house may be clean, but it’s impossible to tell, with its outdated aesthetics. The fastest Wi-Fi speeds we could manage was 3.39mbps/down…terrible. The area is beautiful and quiet…it’s a shame to not take preventive maintenance steps to enhance an enjoyable stay. We are business travelers 180 days a year and frequent many types of accommodations…this stay was a disappointment and at the bottom of our list. If the price points are to remain their current rate…there should be more honesty and transparency about the property.

Nice Vacation House
Overall the property was comfortable and enjoyable to be in. The arcade machine appears to have been out of order for a while and while the listing noted that 4x4/chains would be needed in the winter, I was not anticipating that the driveway would still be covered in ice when significant snow fall hadn't occurred for 1.5+ months. Outside of those two items, we would still recommend this property.

Great Northstar stay
Perfect for what we were looking for. Minutes from the Northstar village, free shuttle access. Not an upgraded home, but everything worked perfectly fine and we enjoyed our stay very much. Great overall value.

great location and home. Shuttle picks up to go right to the Northstar lifts. Game area is good, plus plenty of beds. Working washer/dryer. 1 garage door did not work, 1 shower did not work, and a bit dark in the living room.

Cozy affordable stay
It was a cozy and affordable stay. The bedrooms, bathrooms and kitchen were very clean. Beds were comfortable and kitchen was fully stocked. The living room was VERY dusty and couches were uncomfortable. TVs were dated and in very awkward spaces so I wouldn’t recommend a family movie night. Overall...we were out most of the time and felt satisfied with our stay. We would stay there again. It was very convenient and affordable.

Charming Tahoe cabin!
My girlfriend and I stayed at this charming cabin in Tahoe near northstar. While the house is quite dated, everything worked perfectly well. We would recommend this property to others and would love to rent again!

Overall the location was great, the property was clean, but the furnishings / equipment are outdated. Could use a new couch as you sink in a lot when you sit on them, but everything worked. The trail is also nearby so great to go for a walk/run.

Tahoe mini getaway
Rental was easy to get to and in quiet neighborhood. Tons of kitchen amenities. Arcade game doesn’t work, no tv downstairs. Kids love the bunk beds. However, tv didn’t work in living room. We had 4 different remotes and none of them turned on the tv. Tons of games.There was also some trash left from the previous renters when we got there; outside the property on the side of the garage and on the back patio. Steep steps to get to the room on the bottom floor with bunk beds. Not great for younger kids but worked for ours. Overall, it was still a good stay.

Not as expected.
Many issues with the property. Broken shower in master bath, very dirty upon arrival, microwave was broken, and NO air conditioning. When I communicated with the property management, I was told a refund for part of my stay would be processed. Over ten days, and no refund. Very disappointed.

Just what we were lookin for
We decided to go us to Sand Harbor to celebrate my daughters birthday and this place was perfect. Not too far from the location and just what we needed. The house was clean and perfect size. It had everything we needed. We would definitely consider booking this same house again.

Easy & clean Northstar house
The house was an easy and clean place to stay at. While dated in style, all beds were comfortable, everything was clean and all supplies needed, i.e new sponge and dish soap, plenty of clean fresh towels and sheets, were provided. I'd most definitely rent again here

We stayed with another family and between us we had 3 kids. The house was in a beautiful quiet neighborhood. The house was comfy and plenty of room for all of us. The kids loved the big room with the foosball table. We'll definately come back.

Cozy, clean, and perfect for 2 families with young kids
We stayed here with 2 families of four. Very cozy cabin-feel yet plenty of space for both families. The kids loved the room with bunk beds and games. The large garage for 2 cars is a nice bonus. We would stay here again!

Northstar's the best!
Relaxing, fun vacation. Weather was spectacular; from sunny 90 degree days to thunder and rain. The cabin was cozy and the Vacasa staff was great. Great 2 weeks!!

Great for two families, well stocked house with slightly outdated furniture
The house is perfect for two couples and four to five kids. Kitchen is well stocked and there was a charcoal BBQ not the gas that was listed in the description. Two car garage was great and three bathrooms was perfect for our group. Only complaint was that the couches and one of the beds were not very comfortable at all. There were ants but the property management company was very responsive. Would definitely rent this place again for two families.

Love the location of this home, as well as the size. We also enjoyed playing foosball with our boys. The Galaga arcade game does not work, which was a bummer. If we could change one thing, it would be the comfort of the home. Some inexpensive changes could make all the difference. The mattresses are very firm and nothing is worse on vacation than not getting a good night's sleep. Another needed upgrade are the couches. They are also very firm and uncomfortable. If the comfort change was made, the outdated decor could easily be ignored.

Nice house.
We enjoyed our stay. The house is wel laid out for 2 families of 4. We couldn't find the passes for the Rec Center and Vacasa was very responsive in addressing that quickly. Only suggestion would be to add more light in the main room-- for those of us who still read, it's a little dark!

Super Northstar rental!
