The rooms were clean and spacious and having access to a private hot tub was wonderful! Several skylights kept the interior brighter. The kitchen was well appointed to heat up our breakfast. Excellent location from the 101 to visit Redwoods and other scenic areas.

Very homey. Was very clean upon arrival. Room has everything you may need (eg. microwave, toaster, cups, utensil, etc). Breakfast delivered to you. Friendly staff. Easy checkout. Amazing views across the street.

There was 3 of us, my husband, myself, and our 11 year old. The booking said it accommodated 3, it did not. Had a queen bed & a love seat. We left a day early on my birthday due to it. They said they could upgrade us for another $117 a night so we declined. Would have picked somewhere else if we knew. Also the hot tub in the picture is only if you get that cabin, not for everyone.

Called ahead letting them know I was going to arrive super late into the night and they went above and beyond by turning on the heater in my room so when I arrived, everything was nice and warm.

Such a pretty spot. It had everything we could have needed. Having dishes, silverware etc., was great. The staff were so friendly, and the little breakfast they packed up was so nice.

The staff was understanding in our having a late check-in after driving through some nasty weather north of the location. The cabin was clean, had everything we needed for plates and silverware to have a late meal, the shower was hot, and the bed was comfortable. We were given a sheet with lots of recommendations of where to explore! The only downside to this was we were traveling in the opposite direction of where a lot of the trails were. But we took advantage of the Trinidad State Beach and got a stunning view of the ocean! Highly recommend this location.

Beautiful place to stay, peaceful, clean, friendly staff, kitchens have all the basic things you would need, the grocery store is not very far or restaurants if you don’t want to cook.

Amazing hotel
This place is amazing I highly recommend it!! Very friendly staff and such a cute place close to the redwoods and overall eat better than the hotels we stayed in. Only thing I wish was better was the water pressure if the shower it took forever to take a shower because very little water came out.

Spectacular hotel
Loved everything from the service to the stuff provided to us. Use the hot tub, especially for the foot aches from hiking/walking. The night view from here is beautiful

Great Family Stay
Was a very enjoyable stay. Was close to the Redwood National Park and also to the town of Trinidad. Also at night you can hear the sea lions in the distance. The hot tubs also where enjoyable to relax after a long day of hiking.

Viewcrest was great! Individual cabins, very clean and well appointed. They are 'vintage' cabins with a lot of character, jetted tub, full kitchen, comfortable bed, gas fireplace... very comfortable and not a 'cookie-cutter' stay.

I loved the convenience of checking in. The cottage was very clean. The staff was friendly and very informative about the area. Loved the map they offer to guests…was very helpful in locating businesses in the area. I appreciated all the amenities of the cottage and I would highly recommend these cottages to family and friends.
