Apartment was lovely and spacious, not too far of a walk from the beachfront with restaurants. Hidden €1.50 tourist tax per guest per night- but couldn’t go wrong with the pricing overall especially with some complementary breakfast.."

"We were perfectly situated to get to Taormina center. Everything in Casa Florio worked well with extras such as a bottle of wine and plenty of Nespresso capsules for the machine! The spiral staircase looks daunting but functions well. Luckily the bathroom is also upstairs with the bedroom so there were no trips down in the dark. There are two air conditioner units; we could use just what we needed where we needed and it was appreciated to keep the upstairs bedroom cool for sleeping. Genius...

We spent most of our time at Mazarro beach which is sandy and has a small public area. "This apartment is a bit out of town but has amazing views and is right on a cheap bus route. There is a lovely bakery a short walk away and we ate out on the terrace under the orange tree watching the world go by and the cruise liners in the bay.The air conditioning works well and is really quiet. Some of the furnishings are a little tired but we found the price good value, excellent bathrooms and shower. The owner was super helpful and quick to respond. "The perfect place to totally chill and unwind, which was just what we needed. Lovely characterful farmhouse, fab location, close to Taormina, the most beautiful town ever! Loved the horses who came to greet us each morning and the cats who visited us. Mimmo was the perfect host, there when we needed, and even brought us vegan cookies, which was such a lovely gesture and much appreciated! "Multi-generational family visiting Taormina for the first time. Casa di Nonno was a wonderful experience and location! Communication with host was thorough and prompt. We even arranged ground transportation as well. Once we were on site, Christina made sure we had everything we needed, including coming to our rescue when we locked ourselves out!
