Little Things could have made it so much better
The property itself was fantastic. However, on arrival I found only a small card listing the Wifi password. A single information sheet would have saved me hours of trouble.
For instance, there were automatic blinds to close near the beds. (Very large doors and my kids were nervous to sleep) I looked everywhere trying to figure out how to close them. I looked in the trip manager account info and found nothing. I even reached out to Vacasa at night but got no response until the next morning. Eventually I discovered a power panel on the opposite wall (*not near the blinds at all). But when arriving late it would have been so nice to refer to a simple sheet. Even a label above the switch would have made it more noticeable.
We also wanted to use the fireplace but I couldn't get it on. Eventually I figured out you had to stand directly in front of it to work - not on the side angle where the control is. Again, a simple information sheet would have helped.
Somewhere I read specific instructions as to which pool address to use and spa - however when I finally reached a Vacasa agent - they told me there was no access for guests? Getting Vacasa took hours via their "text message instant response." If you need help, definitely wait for the phone rep.
The kitchen was very minimally stocked. Again, there was nothing actually wrong with the property, but for such a quick stay it felt so difficult! For those renting, please considering making a booklet to help guests.
