I like the history and the decor. I did not like that my fireplace did not work as I discovered the plug socket was not working only the morning I was leaving. Breakfast should not be called breakfast it was not what I call breakfast. Plus for awhile the elevators was not working.

My partner's allergies really acted up during our stay. He has an allergy to dust. The desk and night stand had a layer of dust, appearing to have not been wiped down recently. There was also some splatters of something on the wall near the night stand. Cleaniness certainly lacking.

We’ve stayed at this hotel over a dozen times and we’ve always had a good experience. Beautiful view, clean rooms and common areas, short walk to a variety of shopping and restaurants. Staff are very friendly, continental breakfast is great and parking is free. We will be back!
