This listing is for the Luxury 3 King Bed/ 3 Bath that is located on the complete 2nd Level of the Villa. The 3 bedrooms are Air Conditioned and can accommodate up to 8 people with the 3 King Size Beds & additional Futon type Sofa.

Villa Amerigo has a new owner & new property management company as of November 2016. We look forward to welcoming previous guests who have stayed and also new guests. There is staff on Island to welcome you and assist with anything you may need while enjoying your vacation.

Villa Amerigo is positioned on the side of Pocket Money Hill overlooking Cruz Bay. Amerigo is convenient to all the amenities of town, a few minutes walk away.

Spectacular and overwhelming views of the turquoise blue Caribbean sea, Pillsbury Sound and St. Thomas. Enter paradise through the large stone entryway to this professionally decorated villa. The Villa has large glass panels that offer sweeping outdoor views and opens up for indoor/outdoor living on the huge covered veranda. Enjoy the million dollar views and fabulous sunsets over the beautiful blue water and St. Thomas to the west. Fantastic lighting and marble counter tops and tile floors throughout.

The villa has a generator that comes on automatically when power is interrupted-which happens frequently on the island. ONLY approximately 10% of the houses on St. John offer this convenience. You won't have to worry about spoiled food or hot, uncomfortable nights.
WiFi & internet streaming TV.
Multi-Split Air Conditioner (this is not a window unit) are installed for your comfort. This villa has a huge covered veranda that allows you to keep the large glass wall of windows open to walk effortlessly between the inside and outside living & dining area and enjoy the trade winds and daytime high temperatures between 78-88 degrees year round. The whole Villa can be cooled with the A/C system but generally guests find that cooling the sleeping areas at night is all that is needed.

Located convenient and a short distance from all of St. Johns famous north shore beaches, Trunk Bay, Maho Bay, Hawksnest, Honeymoon Beach, Caneel Bay and other US National Park beaches.

Wonderful stay
We enjoyed our stay very much. House had plenty of room for parents and two teens. Lovely property with two decks and pool deck. Linda, the property manager was accessible and helpful. Great view. Nice pool. We just note we didn’t realize the pool was to be shared with others but it was no big deal anyway. Would stay again.

Amazing views of Cruz Bay & St Thomas. Relaxing on the large patio was a great place to take in the sunsets. The house very comfortable and clean, and had everything we needed. The house manager, Linda, was great and was always available to answer questions about the island. No doubt we would stay at Villa Amerigo again!

Nice Views and Good Setup
There were three of us staying for 10 days at Villa Amerigo. It was an excellent stay as we each had our own rooms with en suite. The best part of the villa was the covered porch with views of Cruz Bay. We spent a lot of time there with morning coffee and afternoon sunsets a part of our daily ritual. The beds were super comfortable and the furniture complimented the whole setup. Linda was extremely helpful and very prompt with answering questions. She also saved us when we made a wrong turn navigating to the villa the first day. I would recommend that the owners have her meet renters at the ferry docks— overall would highly recommended this place.

The house was great with beautiful views. The pool was great. Cooler, beach chairs and towels provided. Lost power one morning and the generator started up almost immediately. Very clean house. The house is at the top of Pocket Money Lane so walking downtown is 10 minutes. Going back up is doable, but taxis are so plentiful I would highly recommend taking one every time you up the hill.

Beautiful house with a beautiful view
We had a fantastic time at Estate Enighed! The place was extremely clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The view from the deck was spectacular & the pool was awesome. We did lose internet for the last 2 days we were there. This was a minor inconvenience but we made the best of it given our happiness of being on vacation in St John. The home is up a very steep hill, so fyi sneakers would be best for walking to/from town. We welcomed the intense exercise! :) We loved our stay there & are grateful to have had this experience!

Fantastic!
A wonderful property, perfect for us plus our 2-year-old grandson and his parents. Our grandson loved the deck where he could watch the iguanas basking and hear the roosters, birds, and frogs. The layout inside was great for him, too. Beds were comfortable and the bedroom a/c made sleeping very comfortable. Kitchen was well stocked and there were plentiful beach chairs to borrow. The access road is steep and rough, but we had been in the area before and knew what to expect. It's a do-able walk to downtown but I think it would seem very long walking back uphill after dinner--we didn't try it. Easy access by jeep to town and the northern beaches.

More beautiful than the pictures but NOT walkable to Cruz bay and only sleeps 6 comfortably
The view is stunning, place is clean, easily accessible with car or taxi. It's up a long steep hill though and it's even tough to walk down - I do not recommend if you prefer to be walking distance to town. Get the name/number of a driver or rent a car and you'll be fine. It's a very short drive. The a/c in the living room doesn't work but it stays pretty cool. The bedrooms are well air conditioned. The master bed is one of the most comfortable beds I can remember sleeping in! The listing does say that it sleeps 8 but the "sleeper sofa"/living room sofa is more like a futon. It pulls out to lie flat so one person sleeps on the seat cushion and the other person sleeps on the two back cushions. Not comfortable at all. My husband and I had to stay on it one night and didn't sleep even a little. With a party of 6 where everyone has a bed and their own bathroom, this place is ideal.

We really enjoyed this stay. The property is very spacious and the view gorgeous!!! All bedding was super comfortable and the kitchen large. With only two apartments in the building the pool is almost private. On the flip side there are always areas of improvement, no major ones but recommended to get even better. The first one is air conditioning. The common areas must have a cooling unit. This is uphill and breezy property but in the super hot September this is really needed. The other things were just minor details: some sand/dust in the floor, broken drinking glasses, used soap.left in the shower but in overall really recommend this place!!!

We had a great time at villa amerigo! The property was very clean and the deck had an awesome sunset view. We loved the king beds in each room, SO comfortable. By far the best part was dipping in the pool after a long day at the beach. Would definitely recommend this property!

This is the 2nd time our family of 5 has stayed on Pocket Money Lane. It is a great location...a bit of a steep hill to walk up and down but doable. If you're in a jeep its just a couple minutes from all of the bars, restaurants and shops in Cruz Bay. Our 3 daughters enjoyed the pool and we had a great time!

We really liked St. John. this condo was nice. We loved the almost private pool. only one other condo shared the pool and we didnt cross paths. Super close to downtown Cruz bay, many restaurants and shops. Also many amazing beaches within 5-25 minutes. Our favorite beach was Maho beach, as it was more calm waters for our children. Bring your snorkel gear!

Great spot with Amazing views
I love when I walk into a rental property and you are overly happy compared to the pics. And that was the case with this rental for us! The pics do not do it justice. The view is amazing and you could sit on the balcony for hours. Outdoor furniture was nice and new, lots of beach chairs and the pool was clean ans nice as well. Full kitchen , stocked with everything, lots of towels and beach towels. Only downside is that the main living area is not air conditioned. It does get warm during the day even with the slider door open, the room air conditioners worked well though. The road to the house is a bit treacherous but that is all a part of the island charm. Walking into town is possible although not really pedestrian friendly. Get a cab for the ride home! Can’t wait to come back, property owners were great to work with and very responsive.

Every now and then you make a mistake....
The owner's suite is very nice and we rented there because we had viewed it a couple of years ago. However in the intervening years, our mobility has changed and we found the access stairs to be too challenging, especially for check in and check out. We didn't even get down to the pool as the three additional steep flights of stairs were just too much for us. One of them doesn't appear to have a hand rail. It was a huge disappointment not to be able to use the pool. I blame myself for not remembering the many stairs but it did deter us from going out more. Again, the property is very nice - fully loaded with everything in abundance: cutlery, plates and dishes, etc. The air conditioning and fans were very welcome. We did lose cable on one of the TVs the first day and never got it back. It was frustrating, especially as Viya didn't feel it was their responsibility. We feel this property is better suited to a couple who is a little more athletic than we are. Being tall also helps. Clothes hangers and the microwave are located well over my comfort level height wise. I'm 5'5" and could only just reach the hangers.
