Staff was very polite, helpful, Staff gave me a door notice/sign to put on my door knob that i had a dog ( shih Tzu small dog ), so housekeep would know, when i found out there schedule , i would take the sign off from door knob so housekeep could clean or leave towels put that did not work so i sweep my room

I do have to say that our room, despite maybe needing some freshening up, was comfortable. I was glad to wake up without back pain or other issues. But the property overall is ran poorly. The first day, someone opened our door and left it cracked open. We came back and there was someone standing near by, that looked like he was scouting it out. Very unsettling and unsafe situation. Then our TV started messing up and there was no way to call the front desk because the phone didn’t work. So trip to the front desk again. The maintenance guys came it quickly though, and were very nice. They changed our TV out right then and there. Next day, we were locked out of our room, so again, trip to the front desk. And then the last day, we needed to leave early, but couldn’t check out because there wasn’t anyone available to check us out until 8am, which put us way behind schedule. There were staff there, but they wouldn’t help me, just told me to come back at 8am. Overall I wouldn’t recommend it or stay there again.

The front desk was not friendly, it wasn’t bad either but it didn’t feel welcoming. However we really enjoyed our stay. The food at the restaurant they have was super good and the access to the beach and the pool were great

Hotel was great for the price, breakfast was a basic. The gentleman by the name of Louis who wad working the breakfast area was awesome. Pool ok, hot tub needed cleaning, overall a good stay.

The room was very large. I was saying I could easily staying there for a long time. Staff was nice - my husband especially thought the breakfast guy was great and entertaining. It was very quiet which I always worry about on a ground floor room to outside. I would recommend!

Good location and can’t beat it for the price! Luis at breakfast is the man, always happy and puts smile on everyone’s faces. Even had a beer with him when he was off work by the pool. The music gets loud by the pool so if you’re staying by pool don’t expect to sleep until around 11.

Luis at the breakfast buffet was the highlight, he brought sunshine to everyone’s day! The room was nice, clean and very convenient access to the beach. Hot tub wasn’t hot and only 2 jets worked, but it was warm and still comfortable.

Hey Ramada- when I was little girl I went to a Ramada Inn in Chicago- and I thought oh I can’t wait until I can afford a room there! So I’m at the Ramada inn on south Padre Island. What a pit!!!! The rooms are dark, everywhere on the property are old- the deck had some tall chairs that I view as being extremely dangerous for anyone to sit on. Also the washer and dryer - got painted instead of replaced. They are both on their way out. The service is over the top!!! Breakfast is pure entertainment:). Our Host was amazing!!!! Some diabetes friendly food would be nice- eggs sausage -protein. Would I stay again - I might- but ONLY because of the hospitality staff and all staff!!!!

Thank you for your feedback, we are sorry you were not impressed with our property. We are in the process of updating our pool and patio furniture along with room furniture. We hope you decide to give us another chance in the future.

We had listened to people stomping in the room above us for over 3 hours. Finally got ahold of front desk after an hour. Asked them to call room above us and ask them to quiet down. Front desk response was well people come here to party and the best thing for you to do would be to call the police. I said why can’t you just call upstairs and ask them to quiet down he’s like well what room is it? I said it’s the room directly above us so You should be able to figure it out .

Rooms were clean. The pool is packed all day. The only Negative thing I can say is the walls are thin and you hear everything. Don't get a room by the pool its loud til 11pm.

Property has a quick walk to beachside! Staff is very nice and accomodating. We've been here several times, the rooms are always clean, its quiet at night, safe and less crowded beach area!

Our first night here was wonderful. The second night, which was a Friday, was terrible. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel unless you’re in town to party. The pool was obnoxiously loud and there are noise ordinances posted everywhere, my wife called to complain and the staff several times said they couldn’t do anything until the pool closing time, 11pm. That’s incorrect. You have an ordinance. You can politely ask them to be quiet and evict them with police and security as stated on the ordinance. At 3 in the morning there was a group of men outside breaking glass bottles in the walkway. No police or security was involved, they had the maintenance man ask them to leave. Personally it’s cheap and if you’re a single guy or gal it’s a good deal, if you have a family I’d go elsewhere.

Friendly attentive staff especially a guy at the dining area if I remember right his name is Luis, his sense of humor made our morning. The way he greeted us made Us feel welcome, they need more people like him.

The place is ok. You get what you pay for. Only super downside was the fact that they only clean the room twice a week. So when they came my kids were still finishing brushing their teeth. I asked the lady if she could come back in 5 minutes and she said no. She was literally two doors down when we left! The only upside of the hotel was the restaurant. It had good food for lunch. And the extremely kind guy at the breakfast. Wish I remember his name.

Hello, Thank you for your feedback. Since we have started our Wyndham Green Initiative we no longer give complete service to any stay overs. We have implemented a daily towel exchange along with any hotel items (soap, shampoo, bathroom paper) 1st Floor room services are offered on Monday & Wednesday. 2nd Floor is Tuesday and Thursdays.

Hello, we require an active Debit/Credit card on file to guarantee your reservation. We do have a 24 HR Cancellation Policy in place. We tried to contact you to update your billing info. If we cannot get a hold of you the reservation will then be canceled.

The man at counter (Jorge) was very loud and rude. Although he paused a long time before he told us his name. He forced all of us to pay an additional $10 per person for a mandatory, "red bracelet" he stated was required for all who are staying at the RAMADA. He shared we had to wear the bracelets while on the premises otherwise we'd be forced to leave. We could not have breakfast or use the pool if we didn't have the "red bracelet" He also threatened that a police/security would interrogate anyone who wasn't wearing one. 🙄 * Dirty sheets with holes, ugly stained pillows, stains on the pull out bed. There was also a box of Decon Roach treatment on top of the refrigerator where there was also moldy plants.

Amazing Stay!!
We had an amazing stay at The Ramada, as usual. The staff was very friendly and informative offering good advice as to what was happening in the area. Heated pool is a plus and the restaurant food was very delicious as well as the continental breakfast. Sofa bed was surprisingly comfortable. Housekeeping did a great job switching us out towels, linen, and any other thing we needed. As a family of four and a pet, this place is definitely the go to.

Any time I see Cockroaches I say never again. Yes we saw them in our room. No two rooms are the same. We had not desk chair, they did. They had no was cloths, we did. We had one very small garbage can, the had 2 larger. We had no ice bucket, we had none.
