"Nice quiet little hotel. Decent pool and sun lounger area, not overcrowded at any point on our stay. Room was large but very basic. Bathroom could've used a Hoover/clean - few dead (and living) creatures in there. We walked to the local town and hired bikes from the hotel to explore further out. Would recommend a hire car as not much to do in the area and cabs are rare and expensive. We drove out for a couple of day trips. "We enjoyed our stay in this small family-run hotel in Lu Bagnu, close to Castelsardo. The room was clean, well-equipped with a balcony and partial sea view. A good buffet breakfast was served and a free car park was convenient situated close by. The staff were helpful and friendly and the hotel was within walking distance of the beach."

Bit like a travelodge quality wise. 2 out of 3 of the evenings, the hotel had some sort of parties going on including a loud rock band on the Saturday night, we had ear plugs so not a problem for us but if you like an early night and are a light sleeper, bear this in mind. "The hotel is a little dated but in a convenient location across from the beach and about a 20 min walk to the old town. The staff is helpful and friendly. The reason that I rated it so low as my husband and I would wake up with insect bites that we first thought were mosquito bites because he had found a few mosquitoes in the room. After examining the bites we feared it was bed bugs so we stripped the beds down to the mattress and with the flashlights on our phones we discovered tiny bugs crawling. We reported it to reception and they replaced the mattresses but did not acknowledge there were bed bugs. Also when we checked into our room the toilet wasn’t flushing properly and had to replace the tank the next day. The rooms were serviced daily. "
