My husband and I have issues with stairs. They got us a first floor room. The parking spot right outside our room was handicap but we could park there for the few minutes to unload and load. Easy 30 minute drive to downtown New Orleans and fraction of the cost. Many good restaurants close by. And easy access to I-10 and I-12.

The check in was simple, the parking was just a few feet from the building/door, the pool was nice, we had 4 people and each had a keycard, they always gave us extra towels or whatever we needed. They checked in daily unless you put up a do not disturb sign, which every room is provided with. There was a tv with plenty of stations to watch. Nobody bothered each other and there were plenty people checked in but it was fairly quiet when we were at the inn. All of the staff were really nice. It does sit next to a truck stop and behind a Rouses grocery store so if you have issues with starting at a loading dock or 18 wheelers then you may not be overall happy but that wasn't an issue for us and actually liked having a grocery store right next door, plus alot of food options from chic fila, McDonald's, Panda, Taco Bell, you name it.

The hotel is good overall, has a pool and really close to a lot of restaurants but the room had so many flying bugs, I smushed at least 20 of them. Never had that many bugs in a hotel room and I had 3 sitting on me, gross.

It's what you'd expect for the price. It was clean and the gentleman who checked us in was great, super nice and accommodating. The AC didn't stay cool and made a weird ticking noise that got louder over time. My husband killed 2 roaches within the 12 hours we were there. The pool hours are weird, 10am-7pm.

Ask for another room if not to your satisfaction!

Bed sheet was clean but stained! Room was old, toilets were clean looked like had been recently replaced. Went to front desk to make tnem aware. I wouldn't let my guest use stained sheets. Service Attendant offered another room. New room had a better bed and sheets were clean.

Ask for a none smoker in advance.

I am a none smoker and travel with a pet ( dog) on most of my stay… Unfortunately I got a very stinky room with an extremely low water pressure! I didn’t realize that I should have ask for a none smoking room . It wasn’t an option to choose from . Lol Otherwise , it was a nice and quiet place in a very good neighborhood. The truck stop didn’t affect the noise pollution at all…. Lots of good restaurants, grocery store close by. The price was right also…

I absolutely enjoyed checking in and my interaction with staff. However, the person in the room next to me had a ton of cats and the smell of cat urine was in my room. Fine fir the rate they extended, I am cool with that. My wife asked me to check for bedbugs and I said okay how. She said to look for dark marks underneath the matress cover. I told her ther are what look like mildew spots all.over and she told me to get my stuff and run out of there. Just the truth. I left ASAP and went spent more on another hotel in the area. I just want to share truth. The dude at the counter is awesome. But the folks on the room cleaning and monitoring clientele are failing to the point that I would recommend staying elsewhere. Guy working the desk, change jobs bro. You have hospitality in you. But that is not the facility.
