Circa 1985 Chinese hotel
Disappointing. Not the same hotel exterior that was pictured in the advertisement. Typical oldschool dive Chinese hotel. Rockhard beds. Stench of stale smoke prevails in all the rooms. Generally worth about half the price paid for it. You are paying for location and the free shuttle to and from the airport

Basic room with FREE minimal breakfast
I used the hotel due to its proximity to the airport. Staff were very good. Breakfast was minimal. Shuttle bus driver took me to the wrong Terminal at the airport. I almost missed my flight. Stupid!!!

Convenient Location
Had an overnight layover in Shanghai and the free airport shuttle was great for getting to and from the airport. The staff was friendly and the room was quite comfortable. This hotel is a wonderful value located just minutes away from the airport. Would highly recommend this hotel for short stays and layovers due to the proximity to the airport.

An ok place.
The hotel was fine. The address was marked incorrectly on google but I don't know who to blame for that. The wake up call consists on a knock on the door and a "hey mister wake up now," which was fine. It's ok.

Not horrible not great.
The airport provided a shuttle bus from the airport. We called hotel to locate the pick up location. Communication (English to Chinese) was difficult. But this is not a negative. As a traveler to the country I should be responsible for being able to communicate at some level. Upon arrival at the hotel the staff was not able to process our reservation. This took two staffers and nearly 30 mins. When we finally got to our room we found that the key did not work. Had to return down the stairs (no elevator in the building) to have the key issue addressed. Decided to go out for a bite to eat. Once the sun went down the area becomes somewhat unsavory. Being from a major US city we are used to unsavory areas but be forewarned....it's not a place for single travelers to venture out at night.

I stayed here for a night on a stopover before my flight the following morning. Hotel was close to airport with a shuttle bus provided free of charge. Checking in was complex as staff has very little english. However, the bed was very hard.

Good hotel, plan how to get there before arriving.
We landed early morning and only needed the room as a place to shower and kip for a few hrs before heading into the city. It served its purpose well. Bed was very hard but clean as was the room and a nice big bath. Access is tough. There is a shuttle bus but you will need someone to call the hotel and organise this. The first one leaves the hotel at 5am so I guess would get to the airport about 5:30am. We ended up taking a cab which took about 20mins and cost 55rmb. That was the 5th cabbie we asked as the others didn't know where the hotel was.

Ok hotel, seen better for cheaper & minimal englis
Hotel is ok. Not very acessible area, 30 yuan to nearest metro station via taxi or 1 hour walk. Not much to see or do in that neighbourhood mainly small shops and street food. Staffs English proficiency is very low and can be at times problematic, luckily they have google translate but even still not great understanding. They provide a shuttle service in the early hours to the airport which is good so is suggest this hotel only if you have an early morning flight and need to stay one night

nice quick stay
Great hotel for a quick stay, was there for a long layover, close to the airport and provides free shuttle. The bed was not comfortable, and no free water was a bummer. The staff speaks almost no English, which made things fun lol. But the room was really clean and spacious.

The hotel is very close to the airport and free shuttle. Hassle free from the taxi. Just a room to sleep. Don't expect much. It's good for someone just sleep over night while for waiting for your flight.

Moldy. Noisy. Ugh.
Walls were paper thin. Hallway traffic, plus street traffic was super annoying. WiFi did not work and front desk had no idea how to fix it. Staff spoke barely any English. Mold was definitely growing on the shower curtains.

Excellent for the price
You can't book the pickup through Wotif, so I got a cab. Not far from the airport, slightly away from the main strip. Staff very friendly - English wasn't strong, but they used a translation app. Room was very clean, and excellent features for the price. Free shuttle to the airport in the morning, and they made a courtesy wake up call. 2 grocery shops within a few metres, and numerous small restaurants. Again, English is not a feature, but that only mattered to me as I'm vegetarian. If you're looking for a shower, a meal and a good night's sleep in a clean, quiet room close to the airport, you can't beat this hotel for price.

Excellent Shuttle Service
This is a great hotel if you want to be close to the airport. They offer a shuttle service which was excellent. We used it often as we had to be at the airport to send off family members as well as for our own flight. The front desk helped us arrange a nice tour of Shanghai and were very helpful with limited English. They used there phones to help translate. Rooms were very clean. There is a street that you can walk to that has lots of dinner options. Bring your own coffee whenever you travel in China, they only have tea.

Decent place for a layover at Hongqiao
There was a shuttle to pick me up and take me back to the airport which was nice (had to find the help/info desk to help with contacting the shuttle driver). The front desk people spoke a little English and were helpful when they could not find my reservation. There are many little stores and restaurants in the area so that is convenient. The room was comfortable enough and quiet.

無料シャトルバスがある浦東空港近くのホテル
ホテルとしてはまあ普通でした。部屋が広かったのはうれしいのですが、暖房入れて暖かくなるまで時間がかかりました。シャワーはすぐお湯に変わったのでそこはとても良かったのですが、部屋の掃除が全く行き届いておらず、それだけでだいふNGです。立地は最寄駅は海天三路駅だと思われます。とても歩いて行ける距離ではないです。そこで無料シャトルバスの話になるのですが、深夜到着で時間が合わず、私は断られたのですが、時間さえ合えば良いと思います。帰りはしっかり無料シャトルで空港まで送ってもらいました。まあ、深夜に到着の方は、空港からタクシーでホテルまで来ざる得ないのですが、空港タクシーは距離が近いと乗車を拒否されることがかなりの頻度であります。私は使いたくなかったのですが、白タク使いました。そういう意味でもこのホテルを使う時には注意が必要です。
