Not at all like pictured
Upon arrival, the fence tonthe pool was down in 2 spots, pool wasnt in season, but was a safety concern. The hot tub was brown and looked like it hadnt been serviced in years, the house itself was decent, until we attempted to go to bed on our first night, hit something under the bed and discoved a pair of pants with a urine soaked adult diaper under the bed. Absolutely disgusted at this point, called the phone number, the property mamager (not owner) was very helpful and was able to move us to another property they manage. One night was definitely enough

Chapel Cabin
The property is beautiful, however, on the exterior upon arrival the lawn chairs we laying over the hill in the woods, the hot tub was non functioning and dirty, the privacy fence around the pool was partially laying on the ground, the interior of the rental property was unswept, there are busted vents in bottom floor bedroom. The bed on the bottom floor is in disrepair, had to sleep on the upper level. Was unable to speak to the property manager except through email, he replied one time, yet failed to address the issues. This property is managed poorly, it is falsely advertised, if I had known the hot tub was unusable I would have rented another property. I would not recommend this property to rent, very unhappy with this rental.

Perfect little hole in the wall.
I seen some of the negative reviews about a bug here or there, or outside. First this place is like 5 minutes from town so it’s a quick trip if you need to get to the main strip of road but yet still gives you your privacy. There is also a back road that puts you close to downtown Gatlinburg too. The road getting up to the cabin was paved and the cabin is on a flat surface once you go up the road. The cabin is in the mountains and surrounded by woods. The hot tub is located on the back porch which great. We didn’t use the pool due to the weather but the pool is about 30 feet away from the cabin’s front door and is surrounded by a privacy fence which would be nice in the summer months. The owner was very accommodating as our first cabin got cancelled because of it being booked on Christmas Day. The check in and out process was also supper easy. I’m not sure what type of hot water heater this cabin has but there was plenty of hot water for a showers which was a plus after a long drive. The couches were super comfortable and there were tv’s in the bedrooms and living rooms along with great cell phone and WiFi reception. I would definitely recommend this place again and hope that on our next trip it is available. The past reviews seem as if some people were being a bit picky seeing a wasp nest at the steeple of the building in the woods. Don’t always go off the negative reviews as this place was a hidden gem.

Location great. 1st fl bedroom ceiling has spider webs, 1st fl bathroom was missing a towel rack, kitchen looked clean until we experienced ants on countertop, ants crawling on wall behind stove, and ants in our food packages that we stored in wall cabinet. We even had ants crawling on 1st fl bathroom floor. Inside needs TLC.

Ok, so I check in and look around a bit inside to look for cleanliness problems etc and hear a ticking noise upstairs. So I go upstairs and find this enormous flying Wasp flying against the half wall upstairs. I kill it with my shoe and bring it downstairs to inspect it, as its the largest wasp I've ever seen. I don't think much of it, go out for Taco Bell, come back and find these Giant Wasps all over the front door and front windows--at midnight. Yikes. I go to back door and there are 3 of them back there so I kill them with my shoe. I go back in the house, kinda scared now, wondering if they'd get in the house while I slept. Sure enough, I look up and 2 more are flying around the living room. Then I don't see them. I get that sinking gut feeling like they will come out from the couch or bed and sting me or my 10lb dog if I stay here. I call VRBO and the man on the phone there tells me "Maybe you could just go get some insecticide" -- no joke. I never heard such an uncaring, boneheaded thing in my life. I got a hotel in Pigeon Forge at the Hampton Inn and never stayed one night and owners have not compensated me back one dime. Communication from the Owners/Company that runs it has been non-existent. You will do all the calling, they will never call you back.

We enjoyed our stay very much. Property was pretty much as described. However the in ground pool was green. As a in ground pool owner this was heartbreaking to see such a wonderful pool like this. We could not swim however the Ms. Pac Man game, board games, hot tub and Roku TV occupied our free time. Why bother running the pool pump if the pool is not balanced, waste of electricity. I wish I could have had proper equipment we could have had that pool glistening.

Stay was overall okay but had some issues
The place was nice. Pros: Location was very close to everything. Pool was very large. Showers were nice. Lots of parking with seclusion. Cons: Place was secluded BUT kinda creepy at night. Mattresses were stained. Hot tub was unusable and broken with no water and had been broken before we got there and we were not informed. Pool was dirty and we could not clean due to no tools being provided. Also no lights on or in the pool so we could not use at night! TV was kinda hard to operate and didn’t work correctly. Kitchen had really bad ant problem around the sink area and that was concerning. Had a hard time getting anyone to respond to our issues during our stay but company did try to help and make it right at the end of our stay so we were thankful for that. Overall the place was nice but some things were wrong and we didn’t get it enjoy as much as we initially thought we would.

The cabin itself was fine. But because the selling point of the rental was the swimming pool, which wasn't in useable condition, this was a disappointing experience. We asked about the pool ahead of time, were assured that it would be in good shape, so I feel lied to. Very negative experience.

The Chapel stay 23
Nice cabin, conveniently located to all pigeon Forge attractions and restaurants. Housekeeping could do a better job. Dishwasher was molded and mildewed (The worst cleaned item I have ever seen in a rental.) It was disgusting and did not work. Thick layer of dust on top of refrigerator.Pool could be cleaner but with a rainy week and cool temps we never had an opportunity to swim. Hot tub was broken and we were told they were ordering a part but it never got fixed during our 5 night stay. Overall, a great stay, would stay here again the next time we are in the area without hesitation.

Good Place - Couple of Hiccups
The cabin itself was nice. 2 bedrooms, lots of space. The property it is on is nice, flat (which is rare), space for kids to play outside. The only hiccup was with the pool and hot tub. The pool was not very clean, and by the third day of our stay, we couldn't use it. The hot tub had some sort of glitch and kept overheating even though we set the temperature to 98 degrees. The property management company had a technician come out, and whatever they did caused it to get a leak and it essentially drained the last night of our stay so we couldn't use that either. The property management team was very easy to get a hold of and was good about trying to solve the issues, it was just unfortunate that we couldn't get the problems fixed before the end of our stay.

Not what is advertised!
We were so excited to find a cabin with a private pool for our week in the mountains! Once we settled in to the cabin, we went out to check the pool out and see about jumping in. Once we found the gate to get in we noticed that the water was so cloudy you couldn't see the bottom. We decided to give a day to clear up some and go into town. The next morning it was still cloudy but we could see the bottom a little better and decided to wait till the afternoon. The kids then went to check the hot tub out and was shocked to see a dirt ring of the water level when they removed the lid. We then contacted our host through VRBO and reported the issues with photos. They stated they were having someone come out to clean the pool. Someone did come out to clean the pool but the pool was still unsuitable the entire trip and they never touched the hot tub! Never heard anything else from our host or VRBO! Just goes to show if things sound to good to be true, or if its a hell of a deal for a cabin with a private pool its because it really not! Not what is advertised!
