My husband and I and our best friends stayed in the home. It was easy to get to, close enough but also far enough a way from the noise. We did learn that the next time we stay in Savannah we will stay closer to River St. The walking to Forsyth Park was GREAT! The parking was never a problem. I will say the home itself is adorable, its an older home that has a lot of character. But, what we didn't expect was another guest showing up late at night and into the morning. Trixie liked to be a little loud, it is the animal in the hood vent of oven. YES, we named it... We believe it is a squirrel but we aren't really sure. Trixie stayed all week...
When I went to take a shower the first night arriving, I noticed a dried dirty washcloth on top of the shower curtain rod.
We went to take two wine glasses out of the cabinet to have a glass of wine and there was lipstick on the glasses and the dishwasher still had the pod in it but NO dishes in the dishwasher.... At that moment we decided to hand wash every dish prior to using them. I would maybe invest in a larger TV, that TV is so small and hard to really see. The wall can most diffidently accommodate a larger tv, it looked like a computer monitor. Also, the bench seat at the table is very loose, we were scared to sit down on it.
Highlights of our trip was the Ghost Tour and the Trolley Tour!
