Very disappointed Left early stayed at hotel
Unfortunately I cannot say that my experience was pleasant. We arrived late and the first night we heard what appeared to be gun shots........ the following mornina to see police cars at the end of the street. The day was The day was further complicated by the neighbor in back of the property coming by to retrieve the owners mail. We called the 800 number to see if this was acceptable and was told they would speak to him. Less than 3 hours later he walked onto the porch and opened the screen door UNANNOUNCED to retrieve an Amazon package. He constantly stayed on his patio with a birds eye view to our kitchen We closed the barn doors so he could only see into the kitchen and not the main room…..... this prevented us from enjoying the sun. We felt like we were under constant surveillance. He slept with his door opened all night We thought this would be a great experience for our adult kids but instead we left 2 days early. The house itself was pretty;however, the master shower could not be used secondary to the water pooling in the shower and not draining. The ice maker did not work Television in second bedroom did not work (cable) Busy street lots of street noise Lastly there was no place to put the trash so we had to keep lots if trash stored in the kitchen

Some good-some not so good.
House is not upscale. Kitchen is poorly equipped. Dog poops on back porch making it not usable. Furniture is falling apart. Front bedroom is very noisy due to street traffic. House Reno has not been finished. Size is good-3 bed-3 bath. Location is good for getting to historic Savannah.

Disappointed
Took 2 hours to get access to house. Almost missed dinner reservations. Lock broken on front door. Management maintenance guy knew lock was having issues. Should have been fixed prior to arrival. House needs TLC. Nice features. Furniture weathered. Coffee pot didn’t work. Brought KCups per picture. Person lives over garage. Knew that but Can’t really enjoy back porch. No privacy. blinds needed at kitchen windows.

Subject Here you again , as a part- renter of the Big House on Anderson St , in Savannah GA; 1. The Good, Nice house in a what appears to be nice neighborhood, with the convenience of a corner store/gas station / parking lot one block from the house. 2. Not some good for 1. security and privacy was my biggest and main concerns. 1. No back door Dead bolt key I did feel secure with just the door handle lock. 2. The maintenance man living in the of the house who was constantly doing busy work in the front yard with no shirt on and on the back porch smoking possibly looking into the house back door and windows. I had to purchase paper to cover the full glass door and large windows to achieve some privacy. At one point he brought up the hose and had water all on the front porch. You couldn't sit there without having your shoes in water. The twin beds needs either a new bed frames or box springs the squeaking every time you move was annoying and it was no TV in the room.

Savannah trip
The house was fine but.. trying to get the locks to the front doors were an issue. The big thing here is the parking. It’s a busy street and you park across from the house . No reserved parking so you can walk quite a bit to get back to the house . You can’t park at all when street cleaners come so that was another issue . We couldn’t find a spot except up the street and AROUND the corner . Being from out of state we had no idea where we could park safely. If that had been told to us we might have chosen another place to stay . Better communication would have helped with the TV and even what we were supposed to do before we left , take off sheets , where to put towels etc. The house was good and we loved having extra room but the parking BIG ISSUE

We had a great time! Everyone had their own room and we enjoyed having a porch to sit on in addition to the house amenities.

Overall a nice place to stay. Just needs some attention to the bathrooms. Master bath - tile missing (this has been mentioned previously) missing a piece of trim by the door. Bathroom with white subway tile needs to be regrouped and bleached. Granite in kitchen needs to be polished. Little more attention to detail . More than 2 coffee mugs in kitchen would be nice. It was difficult for five of us to drink coffee in the morning (this too has been mentioned in other reviews) All in all a comfortable place to stay, beds are so comfortable.

Was very surprised of the very busy street in front of the home. Pretty scary crossing the street when having to park across the street from the home.
