"We enjoyed our stay of 1 night! We signed up for the dinner which was really good and fun. Almost everyone at the hotel attended the group dinner. There were animation, games and a quiz. Would definitely recommend to stay there if you are in Santa Cruz."

"Hotel Sol is an excellent choice to stay when visiting the Panajachel area. Unlike many other places in the area, the building is secure, very clean, the rooms are big, the shower (hot and cold water) actually works, and the staff are attentive and helpful. Although the hotel is in the periphery of Panachel, for less than $1 (5 quetzales) you can hop into a tuck-tuck and go anywhere in Panajachel. I have stayed in several places in the area and Hotel Sol is my number one choice."
