Loved my stay here. The apartment was spacious and had great character. Location was perfect, about 20 a minute walk to Old San Juan and 15 minute walk to the beach. It is off a busy road so there is some street noise but overall would recommend and would stay here again myself.

The reception staff were wonderful and having a work space with great coffee was a real plus. It’s an interesting neighborhood with murals on the sides of buildings and the local folks are very helpful.

Older buildings renovated on the cheap but good decorating and reasonably clean. Bed and bedding could be improved. Would be good for an extended stay. Staff very friendly and helpful. Close to old town but has free parking.

Wonderful staff, very accommodating, easy to reach, gave us very good service, where to eat where to go. Very helpful. This property offers a very diverse, rich local cultural vibe and experience. Close to everything walking distance to the beach, the forts, the capitol, the plaza, cruise ships,. Perfect location to experience the old world San Juan. Highly recommend.

Great place to stay in San Juan

Great place to stay in San Juan. Clean, safe and good location. Service was over the top. Only suggestion would be to beef up the kitchen a bit. The burner plate that served as a stove was very weak and took a long time to cook anything, and the pots, pans, utensils, etc were minimal. For an establishment that works so hard otherwise to make your stay pleasant, it wouldn't be too hard to close that gap. But I have no problem recommending this place as we enjoyed our stay and the service was great.

What I liked was the location as its only walking distance of 15min to Old san Juan and other site seeing places. Not many homeless around the property. Ecerything inregards to the place and location was great. One small suggestion is to have a microwave, since the place is fully equiped with kitchen supplies but only missing microwave.

I loved staying at Casa Pelayo. It was very comfortable, clean, and plenty of space. Is located super close to most places that we wanted to visit. The neighbors were super friendly and the staff was super helpful. Security was always available. Andres the supervisor was wonderful. Thank you so much!!! I will definitely recommend this place, and I will definitely stay there again. ☺️
