I rarely give scathing reviews, but our trip included harassement from the hotel manager and I want to make sure our experience doesn't go unnoticed.
The booking was a work trip for my husband. At the hotel the heating was broken (mid-November) and the hotel manager put a small space heater to "solve the problem".
We asked for a different solution or to be moved to a different hotel. The manager gave a different space heater that was also not sufficient for the room.
We called Expedia for their support. During our call, the hotel manager came to the room and started to yell at my husband for having called Expedia. The hotel manager asked my husband if he wanted to be refunded, albeit aggressively. My husband felt unsafe, accepted to be refunded and left immediately.
After all that, the manager seems to have changed his mind and will still not give a refund, even with intervention with Expedia. Avoid. Avoid. Avoid.
