Good Location for King's Dominion
This hotel was fine for our stay at King's Dominion. Complaints: I could throw a rock and hit the railroad tracks from our room window. Long freight train came through in the middle of the night and our dogs were terrified. Other than that a few short trains was all that came by during our two nights there. AC did not work the first night. Asked for help at front desk and it worked to an acceptible level the second night. Overall, the hotel looks great as it is newly renovated. The dark out shades are nice. The roller coaster art is fun. The staff were kind. My son and husband liked the breakfast, which was offered at the hotel next door. I will say that this is showing up as a pet friendly hotel, but they are working to change that, so be careful if you book with pets. We were allowed to stay with ours because we had a reservation from this site which at that time said it was Pet Friendly. You can't beat how close it is to King's Dominion. We could have walked there and certainly would have if we didn't have free parking. Overall - we would probably consider staying there again. I would just check the air conditioner before bed and ask for a room facing away from the railroad tracks.

Still carpet in the room also the window blind was broken out of the track and no cord to close. No breakfast only coffee and tea
