Great if you are looking for hassle free all inclusive winter break. We particularly liked the family room, the breakfast and the ski hire and school all on site. Lunch was not great and offering half board options would have given more flexibility

Ski out ski in - perfect
We loved this hotel and will look to stay at one of Falkensteiner's ski hotels again. It's everything you need. Skis and boots hire downstairs, ski and boot room too, so ski straight out onto the slopes. Lovely leisure facilities, indoor to outdoor pool with plenty of relaxation areas. Complimentary herbal teas and waters available to aid your relaxation. The spa is calming and treatments are expertly executed. The outdoor part of the pool overlooks the end of the red runs and you can swim in your steaming pool whilst viewing the mountains. Good buffets or order from the menu for table service. Cakes at 3.30-4.30, yummy. The restaurant is large but keeps its individuality by separate areas for dining - all interconnected but with windows onto each part keeping it light and accessible. Views again across the mountains. Rooms are very clean and comfortable, we had a double whilst our family had a room with a double bed, sofa, bunks for the children and plenty of storage. Each room had a balcony for that morning look at the snow and intake of fresh air. The bar area is ambient and again, has separate areas, so whilst enjoying a drink you can feel private aswell as seeing what's going on. The bar staff are proactive in mixing drinks they hadn't been aware of i.e. an espresso martini. They googled the mixology and created the perfect cocktail. Bathrobes and flip-flops (in a large bag) are provided in each room to enable visits to the pool area to run smoothly. Great hotel!

Großartiger Aufenthalt für die ganze Familie. Sehr herzlicher Empfang und ein absolut tolles Team ! Egal ob am Empfang im Restaurant in der Kinderbetreuung. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und kommen sehr gerne wieder!

Die Falkensteinerkette ist sehr zu empfehlen, alles sehr gepflegt und an der Rezeption sehr nettes Personl, in unserem Fall war etwas wenig Service am Tisch beim Essen, es schien so als ob nicht genug Personal da war. Insgesamt aber nichts zu beanstanden, sehr kinderfreundlich dieses Hotel.

Alles in Allem hervorragend. Personal Essen Angebot für Kinder perfekt. Auch als Alleinreisende Großeltern sehr zufrieden. Durch verschiedene Speiseräume auch nicht übermäßig laut. Das einzige Manko ist dass Teppichböden in dem Zimmer. Sahen sauber aus aber gibt halt auch Allergiker.

Toplocatie, geweldig personeel.
Heel prettig hotel met zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel. Kamer was fijn en comfortabel al was de temperatuur slecht te reguleren waardoor het steeds erg warm (en droog) was in de kamer, net als in de rest van het hotel. De kamer was netjes al miste er een gordijn in het zitgedeelte en hing het wel aanwezige gordijn een beetje los. Echt verduisteren was dus niet mogelijk. We hebben daar verder niet veel last van gehad. Maar toch. Ligging, faciliteiten en vooral het personeel maken dit een fijn hotel. Het eten zou iets gevarieerder mogen, vooral de lunch is wel heel beperkt. Maar al met al zeker een goede plek in Katschberg!

Spa Bereich der Erwachsenen war etwas kalt, ins Wasser sind wir hier nicht gegangen, auch das Aussenbecken etwas kalt. Dafür war der spa Bereich der Kinder komplett überfüllt, dieser ist auch sehr klein. Auch die Zimmer konnte man nur auf tagsüber 21,3 grad heizen, was nach dem duschen ziemlich kalt war. Nachts noch mal 4 grad runter aber es gab dicke Bettdecken. Mitarbeiter waren alle freundlich, essen sehr gut, allerdings gab es am Morgen nur 1 Kaffeemaschine für alle. Unser Kind war zufrieden, netter Kinder Club und sehr liebe Mitarbeiter. Das beste am ganzen Hotel. Alles in allem ok aber kenne ich andere 4 Sterne Hotels mit besseren Leistungen. Am Ende bekommt man noch die Rechnung für das freiwillige Trinkgeld, das auf 10€ pro Tag angesetzt ist, mit welchem man so in der Form nicht rechnet. Man kann es zwar kürzen oder Streichen aber ohne Gewissensbisse auch nicht. Wir würden hier nicht mehr unbedingt hin fahren, lieber beim nächsten Mal ein anderes „Kinder“Hotel

Das Falkensteiner ist das beste Hotel in dem wir je waren! Wir haben ein Doppelzimmer Deluxe (für 4 Personen) gebucht und eine Suite erhalten. Uns hat die qualitativ hochwertige geschmackvolle Einrichtung mit viel Massivholz besonders gefallen. Das Personal war überall sehr freundlich. Der Wellnessbereich ist wunderschön und bietet mit 3 Saunen viel Platz. Es gibt 2 Schwimmbecken innen und 2 außen. Unsere Kids (12 und 14) durften nicht in den Wellnessbereich, hatten aber auch im Schwimmbad und der Kindersauna sehr viel Spaß. Der Fitnessbereich (Kursraum Raum mit Geräten) liegt ganz oben und man hat eine tolle Aussicht. Alles ist sehr gepflegt, sauber und hochwertig. Das Essen ist ein Traum! Es gab ein riesiges Buffet und zusätzlich bekamen die Erwachsenen ein Menü an den Tisch serviert. Wir hatten Vollpension und waren überrascht, dass auch die Getränke inclusive waren. Auch beim Mittagessen hatte man eine große Auswahl an Speisen. Wer zu spät für das Mittagessen kam, konnte an der Bar noch etwas Warmes und/oder Kuchen/Torte essen. Nur hier mussten die Getränke bezahlt werden. Wir haben definitiv zugenommen. 🙈 Das Wetter war in unserer Urlaubswoche schlecht, angesichts des hervorragenden Hotels war das aber nicht so schlimm. Für Eltern mit kleinen Kindern, die im Kinderclub betreut werden können, muss das Hotel noch wertvoller sein. Alles ist auf Kinder ausgerichtet. Programme haben wir nicht genutzt, es wurde aber einiges angeboten. Auch die Gegend ist wunderschön!
