Property is old and needs a renovation, main entry glass was very dirty on ceiling, landscape needs a gardener. Pool was not a "spa" just a bunch of kids splashing around. Where the dinner restaurant was very good the breakfast was a greasy mess buffet and $40 for it is a rip off..sorry. an omelet station would be nice Traditional Scottish breakfast, it is not. Old cold and drowning in grease..

Friendly staff, access to room convoluted and already showing heavy use. Room clean but partially worn, very basic. No fridge. Access to airport is superior!! Breakfast buffet is a large selection. If you are into Spa environments, Spa would be a overstatement for a pool, a worn cold and wet Fin-Sauna, a steam room. Showers can not adjust, change rooms are with lockers, only one towel per guest (which explains the smelly wet Sauna).

Staff and property were great. Breakfast was excellent and some of the dinners were good. Pizza however sucks. Don’t order the pizza Building is old but clean. Parking is right on property so it’s gresy

Not our first stay here. I forgot that some of the rooms have glass "doors" to the bathroom. While that's probably fine for people staying alone, it's a little uncomfortable for 2 people sharing a room. I asked if there were other rooms available, the hotel was full so that was not an option. The room had a storage area for an iron and an ironing board but both were missing. We asked on several occasions and were told that they would be sent up but we had to go down to reception and demand them. Otherwise clean and secure.

Stayed on a number of occasions at this hotel as the location works for us. Stayed with my grandson on this trip so spend a fair bit of time on my hands and knees searching for things ie lids to bottles etc. couldn’t believe how much rubbish there was under the beds from previous occupants. Bin wasn’t emptied on last night. Generally, cleanliness aside, the hotel was ok but definitely not 4 star. Nobody asking you at the hotel if everything was ok or when or where the breakfast was served.

We had an unpleasant experience with one member of staff with the 'tone' (attitude) when we attempted to check in 40 minutes early - we were sternly 'told' check in was NOT until 3:00pm. However, every other member of staff we spoke to were extremely polite and pleasant and so very friendly. Our room was well presented and clean. The housekeeping staff made the room up every day to a high standard. We did not eat any evening meals at the Glynhill but we did enjoy the breakfast buffet. Again, the staff were amazing! The selection of food choices were fantastic. Whether someone is a vegan, vegetarian or meatatarian, there were options for everyone - AND - the food I had tasted great! I highly recommend trying the haggis! We would and will stay there again.

Stayed for three nights in a tiny room which was out the back overlooking the bins, but it was preferable to my second stay when I splashed out on a club room. There is poor soundproofing, the rooms are dated and in a tired condition and there is lots of noise from the corridor, and the road if you’re out in a front room. They’ve got stupid big and clanky keys for the rooms. The gym is very basic and the men’s changing rooms have communal showers which produce a cold trickle of water

Superb staff-efficient, professional and respectfully friendly. They clearly like working here and work effortlessly as a team. Great spa. Nice restaurant and bar. Very relaxed atmosphere. Good parking facility. Will go again and can recommend.

Hotel or club?
We arrived around 10.30pm on a Saturday evening. The hotel receptionist was pleasant in assigning our room but then things deteriorated. We were told that we could walk up the stairs to the first floor, or take the lift by going through the bar. Given we had heavy ski gear, the lift was our best option but it was a surreal experience to drag bags through a bar with pretty loud music playing and people who'd clearly been there a while. If anything, it looked like the aftermath of a works Christmas party or wedding reception. The room was pleasant although a little cramped- no real complaints as we knew what we had booked. The problem however was the noise from the downstairs dance area and (I assume) DJ. The reverberating and penetrating bass meant it took quite a while to sleep, despite a long day of travel back to the UK. In the morning at checkout, the receptionist was busy apologising to another two guests about the lack of wheelchair access for their room, but despite empathising, had no power to do much. We simply checked out, as any comment from us would have been a waste of time. So, in summary, the Glynhill Hotel really needs a revamp and refurb, but more than that it needs a strategic rethink: are you a club and weekend boozing venue, or a hotel?

Well, i dont think we'll stay here again. Breakfast was really good. Hotel feels tired and under-invested in. Staff are hit/miss but its a thankless job. Stsyed here 5 or 6 tomes over the last 4 years or so. Its not improving

What a fabulous hotel! Had a girls night away and it was perfect. Food was good, lovely bar and the facilities were spot on. The steam room is the hottest I’ve ever been in, sauna needs cranked up though. Definitely stay here again, and already booked for May. So close to the airport and M8 too.

We were attending a family party at the hotel and decided to book a room at last minute the staff were very accommodating and had our room ready for an earlier check in as requested the room was clean and beds comfortable staff were all very friendly was a good variety of cooked breakfast items or continental breakfast would definitely stay again in the future

Been this hotel on many occasions and had a fantastic stay. However on this occasion not best; 1 tv was so small 2 no toiletries like says would be 3 arrival staff not very welcoming 4 toilet so small Had a standard room better than the club king room witch was very disappointing would still be back but on this one of many occasions did not enjoy

The staff were all friendly and very helpful. The fire door just outside our room was broken and jammed open (room 250), we had a fire alarm go off in the evening while we were in our room. The toilet seat was broken and kept falling off. The complimentary biscuits had been opened and not replaced. The tv was very limited even though the remote had Netflix and prime on it it just came up as a fault and wouldn’t connect. We booked a king club room but didn’t get one, they told us it was a king club but it was not the same a the picture of the room when we booked.

Our stay at this hotel was excellent! Rooms were spacious and tidy. Customer service was brilliant at the front desk and at the bar. We really enjoyed the indoor pool facility! It is a massive hotel so if you get a room towards the end, it is a bit of a trek! It was easy to find affordable rates and worth the overall experience!
