"This is an amazing building that has been thoughtfully converted. The rooms in the main block are large, comfortable and the bathrooms are especially spacious. The bed was a little too firm for me but that is a personal preference- it was huge and had lovely linen. The whole site had a lovely feel and the other building with the pool etc looked very modern and also had some nice cosy seating areas. "Unfortunately I have experienced this hotel at it's best. The staff were nice and my room was upgraded to a suite which was a lovely touch considering I stayed with my two children. The hotel is tired, there was lightbulbs out in the room, wallpaper peeled and framework missing from the doors. The shower was yellowing and when used sprayed from cracks behind the shower head.
