Mukan resort was beyond words. I have never had a more wonderful experience in my whole life. The resort was incredibly well kept and serene, and the wait staff were top class. I can’t recommend Mukan more highly!!!

5/5 Excellent
"The location is right on the beach and it's secluded from all the noises and parties from a block away. My cabin was by the pool overlooking the ocean. In May, the weather can get to 95-100 deg so having ocean breeze helps. The room is very spacious. The only drawback is you can only turn on a/c from 8pm-8am. I would definitely come back."

"i came to celebrate my birthday and they welcomed me with a complimentary bottle of champagne and room upgrade, service was outstanding, they even gave me a spa discount and finally a beautiful candle as a birthday gift.
love this hotel, it was my 5th time staying in it. "
"The only complaint I have is the mosquito problems they seem not to pay any attention to it. Beautiful place but is kind of hard to enjoy when you have 10 mosquito bites on your body constantly. 7/10"

"I loved the vibe of this hotel, calm and relaxing which is opposite of the party vibe in tulum. The staff is incredibly helpful and kind. I did a yoga class that was fantastic with a wide open and breeze room. The chef was kind enough to prepare a simple meal for my husband who had a stomach bug. Gaby went out of her way to bring my breakfast out to the beach :) Tulum has really changed from our last trip 7 years ago and it feels super busy but this hotel makes you feel very relaxed! loved it "
"Ocean view villa had a spectacular view of the ocean. Even with the beach just steps away, we rarely felt the need to leave our comfy balcony because of the view. It's better than the pictures show.
Staff was good and responsive, but wifi/internet was poor and didn't really work except in one small corner of the room. But because of the location, it was nice to "unplug" for the weekend.
The food was expensive, but above average quality (even compared to other 5 star spots in Tulum), and every meal we had for breakfast/lunch/dinner was good.
Griselda from housekeeping was amazing and friendly and brought us new towel animals every day! "

"Felt in paradise. Loved the cleanliness and the attention of the staff. Primo was very attentive to all of our needs and concerns. Every day staff and Primo would greet us and ask if everything was ok with the room. Primo went above and beyond. Will certainly visit again.

"Loved the resort, the staff, and the vibe. The only reason I might think twice before I book my next trip there is the restaurants on the resort. Although, the food was very good, the prices are outrageous. Everything is very overpriced. I paid $125 USD for a small piece of steak! And a $100 USD for one fish. "
