Great place to stay in Riomaggiore. We loved the fact that it was in the main street which allowed us to enjoy our balcony view. We felt welcomed since the start. She provided us with so many attractions we could do and recommendations that we appreciated. The hotel is located near by the train station which makes it easy to navigate from one to another town. We would say overall this hotel was a great pick since we didn’t have anything to complain about but just love everything about it. Would totally stay here again and will recommend to my loved ones.

We had a wonderful stay at Il Boma and would love to return in the future. It’s in a great location in downtown Riomaggiore, and parking was very easy. Highly highly recommend.

Great place in Riomaggiore, convenient to stay there a couple nights, the owner is so nice when checking in gave us a lot of recommendations and information of the area! The place is comfortable and has everything and more than you need! Would definitely recommend it! This town is a bit uphill so considering that when bringing luggage.

Maddy was an excellent host. She provided excellent directions to her property from the train (better than google maps!), great instructions on how to get around 5 Terre, including train schedules and ferry schedules and details about the various hiking routes available in area. Even though my stay was only three nights, I was able to do a lot of activities because of Maddy’s info and tips. Her restaurant recommendations were also helpful. Thank you Maddy and Franco.

We were so happy with our stay at Il BoMa. Cannot recommend it more, as it had all that we required and more! The owner Maddy took the time to give us a overview of the area and provided recommendations to restaurants and tips for the infamous Blue Trail trail hike. She was very friendly, personable, helpful and answered all of our questions. The location is perfetto, as it is quick and easy to find once you leave the train station. They have some great choices of rooms for your stay; we were so happy with ours. The restaurants that she recommended were fantastic as well. So pleased with our choice and would definitely stay there again next time we visit 5 Terre! Thank you Il BoMa!

Maddie was an excellent host and takes good care of the room and her guests. Always available when we had questions. We stayed in the standard room which had the private bathroom down the hallway, which we were nervous about but it was no problem. The bathroom is large and their is a shelf where you can keep your toiletries so you don’t have to carry them back and forth. The light in the hallway turns on automatically and the hallway is clean so it was absolutely fine. We never even ran into anyone in the hallway. Very convenient laundry a few doors down,

Maddy was knowledgeable, accommodating and a delight! We loved our stay 100% No need for parking everything was walkable from our room. Beautiful views, easy access to the beach, dining, shops, train station, kayak rentals & ferry. On our way out we truly appreciated the access to the public elevator!

After travelling Italy for two weeks, this was the worst accommodation of all of them. The reason for choosing it was the promise of air conditioning but it was broken. The flat is on the high street which is very noisy past midnight, so sleeping with windows open was impossible. The room has coffee machine and some cups and plates but no cutlery or a way to wash the dishes.

The property is about a 10 minute walk through the tunnel then up the street to number 99. The little balcony overlooking the street was a nice touch. There is no elevator and you are going up 3 flights of stairs to the room, so plan ahead for your stay and pack accordingly. Maddy met us at the room to make sure we had a good feel for 5 Terre and the area. Very glad we stayed in 5 Terre.
