My husband and I booked this room last minute for an event downtown. We were very happy with our choice. The hotel was in the perfect location. The room was clean & bed very comfy. It was a pleasant surprise to find out breakfast was included. Added bonus was the great breakfast selection. We plan on staying at the Hyatt Place Phoenix/ Downtown for any future events.

I was in town for a conference and stayed at this property for 4 nights. Staff were friendly and helpful. Location was close to airport and walking distance to restaurants, and it was easy to request a Lyft from the hotel. My only complaint was the noise. All guest room doors are heavy and sound like they are slamming shut, even when you try to close them slowly and quietly. And the walls are quite thin. I could hear the guests next door pulling their window shades up/down every morning. It must be an acoustics thing because it sounded like it was coming from my own room. There also was a lot of shouting on the streets around the hotel, seemingly from unhoused people.

Loved it. Stayed there for the night while being in Phoenix for a concert. Hotel was literally walking distance to the venue and I don’t have till worry about traffic/parking etc. hotel was cleaned, quiet and beautiful.

The person that checked us in was great & helpful. She changed our room as we did not fit in a one bed room. The place was great, food was provided which is a plus & it was at a walking distance. Would stay here again if we have to go back.

The room was very clean and smelled fresh. The linens looked great! The restaurant in the hotel had amazing food at decent prices, they have a bar and a small Starbucks all in the lobby downstairs. They do not have a pool here, but it was still a very 'home' feel to the room and the entire hotel premise was very clean! The valet service has a tremendous opportunity for improvement. We waited 40 minutes for our vehicle to be retrieved, to find out later that the valet we gave our slip to, misplaced it and didn't communicate that to us until after 30 minutes of us waiting and we finally had to ask why our vehicle hadn't arrived yet. He went and retrieved many other vehicles after taking our ticket, so I would highly recommend you call in advance for your vehicle, if that's possible.

The property is perfectly close to the convention center. The breakfast is amazing. However the valet is slow. Sometimes there's so much cars in the valet line that it takes a long time to clear. And the valet guys aren't helpful with your luggage. They would see you struggle by getting your luggage in the car or out of the car.

Clean and comfortable room. Staff wasn’t friendly. Parking was horrendous. Design of exterior created no way to stay dry taking to walk into the hotel when raining - water coming in from all angles.

Check in was good, overall hotel experience was fine until check out. There seems to be only one employee working and he was busy mixing and selling coffee at the coffee store. Then there was a staff that walked by knowing someone was waiting to check out but instead of offering to help just walked into the private office. Waited about 5-10 min for the guy to finish taking care of customer at the coffee shop before able to help with check out process. Management should understand most people when they check out likely have a flight to catch, and 5-10 min wait is not acceptable.
