Came here with friends, an infant, and a dog for a weekend in the Finger Lakes. The house has so much space, is charmingly decorated, and we all agreed the most comfortable beds we’ve ever experienced in a rental. Great location near multiple wineries. Owners had clear and prompt communication. Would absolutely rent again!

We had a great stay. The place was staged so cute. Only downfall was we couldnt find the hot tub at first and the location of the hot tub was awkward. Maybe putting out bathrobes in the winter ?

Great location and property. Listing is accurate, and I would definitely recommend staying there! Just be warned, there is literally zero grace or leniency regarding the check out time. The host scheduled cleaning staff to start at the exact minute of check out. We were unaware of that, but nonetheless ended up being charged $100 for not only the extra 45 minutes at the house, but also for lost wages to the cleaning staff. Additionally the fee for having a pet was assessed for our entire stay, as opposed to daily. Lastly, there is a security camera overlooking the outdoor area, that I don't believe was disclosed.

So many rooms!
Roomy house with great porches and backyard to hangout watching sunsets, barbecuing, using the hot tub. Farmland all around. Close to Penn Yann and easy drives to wineries, restaurants and breweries. Lovely location and a great stay!

Nice Family Getaway
We had 8 adults and this house was a very comfortable size for our group. The kitchen and dining area are open so that you can prepare and meal and still spend time together. Other reviews stated the fridge was not working, this is not the case. When you place food in an empty fridge it takes time to regulate, it regulated just fine and leveled out just perfectly. Convenient to both Seneca and Keuka Lake, Penn Yan, Geneva, and Watkins Glen. Property owner communicated very well and is interested in knowing what happens on the property.

Beautiful house and perfect location.
The check in process was extremely easy. Upon entering the house, the first thing I noticed was the cleanliness of the home. The house was decorated more modern than I had anticipated and it blended well with the country style. The mattresses were SUPER comfortable so bravo! We were also located very close to the wineries so it was very convenient. The only downfall of the booking was the fact that I was requested to provide names, numbers, and addresses of my guests. I have stayed at many Rentals and have never had to do it. The only other pitfall was the fact that there was no door for the master bedroom downstairs. There was a curtain but since the kitchen was right next door we could hear everything. Overall, great experience. Thank you for having us!

Christmas with the family
The farmhouse was a great spot for our family reunion. There were 7 of us and the rooms were spacious, beds very comfortable and the house was spotless. Nice Central location with easy access to wineries, Penn Yann and great hiking. The Outlet Trail was wonderful and so close. The hot tub spa was a treat after hiking and was used a lot! The Christmas decorations were a nice touch and felt homey.

Great place to stay
Staying at this property reminded me of having a sleep over at my grandma's house when I was a kid - it just felt familiar and cozy right away. The house was spacious, clean, and provided everything we needed. A faulty furnace was fixed the same day we let the owners know about it. Every site we wished to visit was within 30 minutes but the drives were scenic anyway so it didn't seem to take long at all. Being close to Penn Yan is also a plus as we love to visit small towns and Penn Yan did not disappoint. Thank you for the great lodging!

Successful Girls weekend
This farmhouse is anything but old or outdated. The rooms were very clean and decorated in a calming style. You may think you have noticed everything in the room, however look again, you will find something new. The pictures and the description are exactly the way it is. This house has a unique style of industrial mixed with farmhouse mixed with garden. The beds and the 1000 count linens await us after a day of exploring the area. Plenty of towels are available in the bath rooms and the Spa. Speaking of the Spa, the space has great touches with the battery candles, music and seating. Unfortunately, the weather did not cooperate and the patios and outside area was not used. Numerous wineries are within a 15 minute drive as are places to eat and grocery stores. Thank you Patrick, Brenda, Martha and Susan for offering this place to rent in a beautiful location.

all was as explained in the summary of the property, very clean, tastefully decorated, great comfortable beds, linens and towels good quality, plenty available, easy location. New SPA was very nice added addition. There is really nothing i could complain about. except the additional fees for host of each person for each night i did not expect, i have never gone through VRBO before, but the house itself was worth the cost. our weather was BAD but we still had a great weekend.

Fall friend getaway
We just returned from our weekend in the Finger Lakes. This was the first visit to the area for all 8 of us. Knowing nothing about the region made looking for a rental a little overwhelming. We chose this property for its proximity to both Lake Keuka and Lake Seneca. The house was exactly as the pictures show. Each room was nicely decorated. All rooms were spacious with comfortable beds and pillows. What the pictures do not show is how clean the property is! I am pretty particular when it comes to cleanliness. This property was immaculate, which is surprising given the age of the property. Sometimes older homes are harder to give that spotless look, simply because of the age. The only thing we noticed was a slight musty smell when you first walk into the house. However, within a few minutes, we didn't notice it at all. Don't let the slight smell deter you...it was Clean. The kitchen was nicely stocked with everything to prepare a meal. We also loved that the vines in the front yard were full of ready to pick grapes. The owner texted us to let us know we could help ourselves to fresh grapes. They have a hot tub for those who are looking for that. The hot tub is in the barn. So if you're looking for an outdoor hot tub experience, be aware that the hot tub is inside. There are many wineries within a short drive. We also enjoyed the Windmill Farmers and Craft Market that is nearby on Saturday morning. If you're looking for dining recommendations, we enjoyed a fantastic meal at Halsey's in Geneva. The service was great and the food was delicious. I highly suggest the meatball appetizer. If you looking for a clean, spacious, welcoming property with plenty of room to spread out, this property will be perfect.

A great place to getaway in the Finger Lakes
We really enjoyed our stay here. Location-wise we were pretty close (30-60 minute drive) to a lot of things in the region, including wineries and breweries on Seneca and Keuka lakes. The Keuka Outlet Trail is only a five-minute drive away, so that was a great place to walk our dog when we wanted to take her on longer walks. Being out in the country it was fairly quiet, although there was some car traffic on both roads by the house. The farmhouse was very clean and well-maintained. The hot tub in the barn was a nice feature to have handy after a couple of long and tiring days. We spent a lot of time on the patio on the side on the house, so that was a great feature. We’d definitely consider staying there again!

Comfortable cozy farmhouse
House had plenty of room, loved the decor. Multiple porches to sit on and beautiful area to relax. Plenty of space for parking, nice lot for the dogs to play. Being dog friendly is one of the main reasons we rented this home. The owners have put a lot of time and thought into the farm house renovation, layout and decor.

I'll start by saying that all 8 of us have stayed in many properties before and never dealt with such a rude host. When we arrived on a Sunday, the water in the ice cube trays in the freezer was unfrozen. We put our food in the fridge and freezer and we hoped by the next morning there would be ice. My sister had knee surgery recently, and wasn't able to ice her knee. The next morning there was still no ice and our items were still not frozen. We let the owner know the whole situation, and he said the freezer works fine, and that this happened to another family the month b4 because they had overloaded the fridge. He asked us to take as many things out as we could until the freezer started working. We took out about half of the items. He told us to buy ice, so Monday night we bought our own bag of ice and by Tuesday morning nothing was frozen and half of the bag of ice was defrosted and there was water on the floor which we had to wipe up. We texted the owner and he continued to be condescending and blame us for the issue. By Wednesday morning there was still nothing frozen and we told him that, and we also told him that we would be out the entire day and expected it to be fixed when we got home since we had already been without a freezer for almost four days. When we came home that night he told us that he had sent a repairman to the house (without our knowledge or consent) and moved some things around in the fridge and it should be working normally. It never started working. On Friday, day 6 of our stay, we wrote to him and said at this point we would like back the cost of one night because not only did we never have use of a freezer, but we had to go out to buy our own ice, wipe up the floor everytime it melted, and the family spent a lot of time arguing amongst each other about the right course of action. He replied by saying that not only would he not refund us any money for our inconvenience, but also basically threatened us by saying that we would be liable for the "damage" that we caused if the freezer was still not working when we left, even though it was never even working in the first place. It's a shame that the inconvenience with the freezer and the owner's rude and unhospitable attitude with us put such a damper on our stay because the house was very nice otherwise. One other thing to add is that we were told that there would be a hot tub on the property, and when we arrived the owner told us that the hot tub was not ready to be use
