Top notch excellent property, great location. Well decorated and thoughtful design, rooms are small but functional and the price / quality / value is there. Will definitely stay here again, best part is it’s 14 minutes away from Orly airport

The hotel had a modern boutique style with a very unique style lobby decor. Rooms were nice but small, very clean and modern but lacked a phone or fridge. Front staff were very helpful with our luggage, as we arrived early, and with assistance with using the underground metro and how to see all the wonderful sights around Paris. Location of hotel was nice as a beautiful park was located across the street as well as the zoo and an aquarium. Several places to eat located close by and the metro station was only a couple of streets away. Breakfast was also nice each morning for a modest price. We would definitely stay at a Motel One again.

Great boutique hotel in Paris
Cute boutique hotel. A well located hotel in Paris, 10mins drive from the Gare de Lyon (train station) and 30mins drive to the Airport (CDG). The hotel did not look too much from the outside, but the inside is definitely a boutique hotel, well decorated with a large reception/bar/salon area when you walk in that is a delight. Bedroom was ok in size and had everything you need, large shower and comfy bed.

Lovely hotel and room, amazing service really clean, modern and organised! The only thing is that the room was so hot above 26 degrees as they don't have cool down system but just fun or heater! Also the room I stayed in was facing the highway meaning not able to open the window during night time for the noise and keep the heat inside, just fix the air con please another than this is an amazing place to stay at

One of my favorite hotels in Paris. Design and chic. Small rooms but comfortable. Better as a single traveler since there’s not much space for suitcases and clothes. Parking is great but expensive- 25€. Also need to pay for everything before - if you haven’t booked your breakfast you need to pay first and can book nothing to your room.

It's has a BEAUTIFUL ambience. The staff is really really friendly. Only downside was that we didn't have a mini bar or access to food within the hotel (except breakfast) - however they were very accommodating to letting us bring food from outside into the rooms (though no microwave or fridge for storage).

Highly recommended
Wonderful stay. Although next to the peripherique, you don't hear a thing and you are surrounded by greenery. Metro and tram at close walking distance. Rooms small but very comfortable. Breakfast buffet generous and tasty. Highly recommended.

My husband and I stayed at the property for 6 nights and enjoyed our stay. For a hotel near a major highway, it is tranquil, which was surprising. The staff was friendly and accommodating.

The staff are very nice but when I booked the hotel I requested a room for one adult and two children and when we arrived I was only booked in I had to pay for one more room which was not ideal but the hotel is very nice

What a fantastic concept! This hotel had e erythinh I could possibly need. Although the rooms are tiny, they are extremely well thought out and comfortable. The staff was fantastic and I loved having the bar area be so central. Breakfast was great, too. While the location is not central to tourist attractions, there is a Metro nearby and we enjoyed being in a residential area with many nearby cafes and a park across the road. What a bargain!

Great hotel in Paris
We loved our second stay at Motel One, Porte Doree. Being a return customer shows how much we like this gem of a hotel. From the stylish lobby and bar area to the super smart rooms this hotel has never let us down. But be warned, it is a minimalistic hotel so while the rooms are very comfortable and the bathrooms refreshing there is not a lot of extra room so it is very cosy. The surrounding area is great and well worth being just out of Paris. Great restaurants and bakeries line the surrounding streets and public transport is less than a 5 minute walk away. It was great to come back at night to this calming neighbourhood.

Pros: Friendly staff. Comfortable bed. Safe available. 5 minute walk to a train station. Cons: Small rooms. No mini fridge. DIRTY towels, asked for new ones and didn’t get them replaced until the next day. Forgot an item (canon camera charger and battery) in the room and contacted them a few days later only to for them to tell me housekeeping didn’t find it in the room.

Awesome spot for a wonderful city stay.
Having stayed at your location in Amsterdam, we had no reservations about staying outside Paris at Motel One. We found it to be a wonderful location and enjoyed it fully. The place is immaculate, staff as friendly as they come and prices are quite reasonable. The breakfast was absolutely exceptional; well worth the price you add to enjoy it. The rooms are quite limited in space, so if you require a large area it may not be for you. We found it fine as we spent little time in the room.Unfortunately we had a fire drill issue twice in one evening, but I am completely sure it was a one off. They could not have been more apologetic and things went smoothly from there. There are a few very nice cafes very close by and the food was excellent. Across the street is a large park that I found very nice for running around the pond inside and side trails. I would absolutely stay there again, and certainly hope to.

Good hotel approx. 5 mins brisk walk from Porte Dorée metro, around 20 mins ride from city centre. If you’ve stayed in a Motel One before you know what to expect. Nice room with safe, good breakfast but slightly limited choice (however not as expensive as some other hotels). Only problem is no meals served in the bar and bar snacks expensive - Motel One could improve by offering a few light meals for travellers arriving late. Restaurants nearby though. Staff very friendly and I’d definitely stay again.

Room was unbearably hot despite it being 7 outside. Aircon didn’t work. Couldn’t have window open as next to three lane expressway with deafening 25 hour traffic. Check in staff v pleasant

Nice and comfort stay, away (30mins by metro) from center of Paris. Employees polite and nice. Rooms didn’t have any telephone line, so there was not any room service. The foods of the breakfast was not fill back up in a reasonable time. In a 4 days stay, the machine of orange juice did not work

Surprisingly nice and comfortable hotel in a good, not central, location in Paris. Reminds me of a funky best western, but better. In typical European fashion the rooms are small and spartan , but practical and functional. Staff is very nice and helpful and accommodating. Relatively inexpensive for Paris, and the location while not central, is good with access to central Paris via the metro or tram in 20-30 minutes. Overall 8/10. I was pleasantly surprised for the money, and would recommend to anyone looking to spend time on Paris on a budget.

A very enjoyable stay, nice to come out of the hustle and bustle of the centre of Paris at the end of the day, with staff friendly greetings even when just walking to the lift and your room.
