2nd stay at the cape
This was our second stay at this campsite. Cape San Blas is beautiful. The site is clean and there is a nice view of the bay. The beach is wonderful and only a short walk behind. Carrying ant spray and an outdoor rug.

Perfect RV Beach Location
We stayed for several days and loved it! You have a very private beach a short walk away and depending on how you park a view of the bay as well. The lot is right off the main road so parking is easy. Only a five minute drive to TH Stone Memorial State Park. The lot also has a picnic table and outdoor shower setup for convenience. Thanks again Charles for being such a great host!

Ok spot, short walk to beach, groceries & a few restaurants nearby. Only complaints: road noise & no WiFi, especially when weather was rainy & cold and we were inside RV more.

A few days on the cape
The property is convenient and easy to get into and out of. The only suggestion I would make is to move the water hook up out a bit so that it is not up against the lattice.

Excellent location!
We spent 6 nights at those site. The walk to the beach was easy and short so we were able to maximize our time out there and it’s also a very short walk to one of the general stores and an awesome ice cream shop! The only negative comment I have is not even a bad thing. The foliage around the hookups needs to be trimmed. But that’s it! We’ll definitely stay here again and I highly recommend it to anyone!

Great RV site
Great RV site for our 30 ft travel trailer. Short walk to the beach, Weber’s Donuts, and Cape Trading Post. Love that there is an outdoor shower and picnic table. Very central location! Would absolutely stay again! The owner was very responsive and worked with us on our travel dates.

2nd stay at this property
The location is great and the lot is an easy pull through for an rv or camper. Only issues were: A lot of stickers/sandspurs around the property. If you have kids or pets, you need to be very careful. We had to carry our dogs to the road to go potty to keep stickers out of their paws. The sewer system is run on a grinder pump. MAKE SURE the breaker for the pump is on before you dump your gray and black water or it will back up everywhere. This is not an owner issue, but some guests turn the breaker off when leaving, so check it. We will definitely syay at this property again.

March Cape stay
Property was clean with easy in/out pull through access. Water/sewer/electric were all close. There is 50a and 15a outlets, no 30a as stated in listing. Easy fix, make sure you have a 30a female to 50a male adapter. Ace Hardware in PSJ carries them. Over a nice place to stay with a short walk to beach access.

Good campsite but bad location
The campsite it’s self was spacious and for the most part level. Easy access to get in and out. The location is terrible. You are about 20 feet from the main road. One road in and one road out so you get constant road noise from sun up to sun down. You will be negatively surprised at how many cars go up and down this road. Even in late October. We had to reposition our camper with the back side facing road just so we could sit outside. Of course this puts your hookups on the wrong side. Walk to beach is not horrible. But you are too far to hear any ocean sounds. We will not return to this site.

Natural disaster and refused to credit me!
Paid for a trip for my son and I. Needed this break desperately, I work in public safety and have little time off. The morning of our trip hurricane Ian turned its head for FL. Governor declared Florida state of emergency! These people on VRBO wouldn't refund my trip. They offered I could reschedule for credit, which I was ok with. Then last minute said no. Now I'm making payments on a trip we never went on. Such horrible taste, I've actually stayed at this site several times. However, I will not be back. What selfish people, in such a horrible time for the state. Shame on you for your selflessness and greed. No one was staying in evacuated places. But you still kept a single mom's money for your own gain. Disappointed I ever gave you business

Not ideal for pets
Location was great. Easy walk to the beach. Plenty of room for camper plus truck. I had read recent reviews about the yard not being maintained. Expected that to be an issue but grass had been cut prior to our stay. My review of 3 stars is due to the condition of the area surrounding the campsite. There were sand spurs everywhere. They stuck in our shoes, and then we would track them in the camper. We couldn't keep them cleaned up and had multiple times we were pulling them out of our feet and the paws of our dogs. What was worse is that we couldnt utilize the grassy area for our dogs. We had to keep them inside the camper or in an enclosed fence area for the majority of the time. When we had them on the leash, we had to take them to other areas to do their business and then deal with a nearby homeowner getting onto us for using private property, in spite of us cleaning up after them. Had we known the issue with the sand spurs, we wouldve left our 2 dogs at home. I imagine this would be a problem with children as well. We were told this would be an issue as long as the grass was not cut regularly. Maybe the owners can find a way to mow on a regular basis to hopefully cut down on this problem. It could definitely keep me from renting again. If not for that, the spot wouldve been great.

No problems except the bottom part of the outdoor shower is broken. The area was clean and we had no issues with the landscape. The septic worked just fine…it must be turned on to work. The site is equipped for 50amp. You must bring a 50 to 30amp converter if you have a 30 amp electric connection.

Lot needs maintenance, but good location
Overall lot needs maintaining. Grass was overgrown around hookups, showers and lot was a little unlevel. Also, I’d limit the size of rigs to 35’. We had a hard time getting our 43’ Montana in here and couldn’t have done it without our slider hitch and 4 wheel drive due to the sand. Beach access and location are a plus though. No wifi

Rv lot needs some attention. High grass around hook ups and shower area.
Rv lot needs some maintenance, while dumping tanks raw sewage would run out onto lot which smell was bad. Pipes at shower needs attention, broken pipe where you rinse off feet.
