We work very hard to make every customer’s experience an enjoyable one and we are truly sorry that we were unable to meet your expectations. We wrote you a couple times to inform you that we do not accept Amex, and offer you the opportunity to change your payment method, however, it never happened. Unfortunatedly, our property is a boutique hotel that has only 10 rooms and we cannot guarantee any reservation unless it is fully payed in advanced, specially during high season. When you arrived at our property, we had one room left available. We asked you to please give us 30 minutes to make sure it was perfectly ready before checking you in. You decided to go for a walk in the meantime and came back 2 hours later. All our rooms are carefully taken care of, we always strive to clean them thoroughly before and after each stay. In addition, all our facilities comply with rigorous fumigation protocols on a regular basis (twice a month). Neither during nor after your stay, a cockroach was reported in your room. If what you indicate had happened and we had been informed at the time, we would have immediately taken responsibility for the situation.Regarding the issue of noise and people on the outskirts of our facilities, unfortunately these are things that are unpredictable and beyond our control. Our rooftop restaurant closes at midnight and music is played at a decibel limit established by the law, which is so low that it is not perceptible from the rooms, therefore the noise that you mention could not come from our property. This being said, we deeply regret that the external noise did not allow you to sleep. Casco Viejo is the most lively neigbourhood in the city, hence it might not be the most appropriate if you are looking for a calm and quiet night. Once again, please accept our honest apologies for not meeting your expectations. If something characterizes us, it is the extra mile we always give to please our guests and make their stay a pleasant and memorable one.
