"Location can not be beat! You are in the heart of San Diego - Old Town - and an easy 5 minute walk to the trolley and Amtrak, both of which we used extensively. NO CAR? NO PROBLEM! Gracious property host. We would stay here again every time our group would want."

"We preferred staying in this quaint cottage as compared to hotels for a change. It was much quieter and had more amenities at no extra cost. We loved being able to cook and have a full refrigerator to stock the food we brought with us, and to have an actual dining room table to use felt more homey. We only had to eat out twice within the 4 full days we stayed there--one dinner and one lunch. We walked to our wonderful Mexican lunch, since it was located right across the street a block away in...

"We spent Thanksgiving with our family of twelve, ranging in age from 2 to 78. The separate units gave privacy when needed, but there is also a lovely gathering area that we used for our Thanksgiving dinner and to hang out. The pool was lovely and much enjoyed by the kids. There is also a lawn play area with games that they enjoyed. All beds are comfortable, and a very comfortable and higher end self-inflating mattress with nice linens was in each bedroom. It is so nice to be able to wander...

"The property worked out great for our family. The home was clean and check in was easy. The property is located in a great spot making a lot of things close and within walking distance in old town. We were anticipating the house opened up between the separate units inside but discovered they are only connected through the exterior, which was not an issue for us. Parking is also a bit limited (one parking spot per unit) if you have more then a few vehicles. There is street parking available but...

8.0 out of 10, Very Good, (2)
"Pros: Very clean and pleasantly decorated. Parking and key were easy to find. Host is very responsive, Cons: After driving 8 hours to San Diego, I was looking forward to a good night’s sleep. The listing says the apartment is NEAR I-5 but it doesn’t say it’s practically on the highway. This is the noisiest rental I’ve ever stayed in. (I’ve stayed in many - and I’m a host). The highway noise kept me up till 1am and woke me before 6am. The apt door literally faces the highway and the building is...
