"The courtyard area is lovely. However they play canned music out there much of the day, so if your room faces the courtyard, as ours did, then you can hear it. I did not notice any soundproofing inside the hotel either (ie, hallway noise and noise from the floor above). The restaurant is lovely, great breakfast and nice bar upstairs. Outstanding location!"

"The property is in an excellent location. The buildings are very close together, so there is privacy which means that you have to keep the blinds shut. The rooms are a good size."

"Good location, just off the Meadows. Friendly reception staff. The room was a basic student flat - one of a group of 4 individually lockable rooms with a shared front door, with en suite shower and toilet. Bed was a compact double - probably a three-quarter size. The room was basic but adequate. Towels and bedding and a single soap supplied, but no extras like shampoo, TV, hairdryer. Free wifi if you log on to the student network. There's a shared well equipped kitchen if you want to...

"Super helpful front desk and amazing housekeeping. Beware of the hostess with the angry face at breakfast. She is the gatekeeper of guests and angrily stops anyone who enters without her permission. She seated my party of two at a narrow table with no place to set our luggage. I put it behind another table and was told I could not leave it there as the table was needed for other guests. There was nobody even waiting to be seated and there were many extra tables. She just didn’t want me to have...

"Hotel has construction on the outside which is a pain. Some reo inside as well means the place is not very presentable. We only stayed one night. "

"When we arrived we couldn’t get in as someone was already in the property. Spoke to Nicki who sorted it quickly and even took the time to bring us an extra towel. The property is conveniently located but is in need of some TLC. Not much to sort it out. The shower is terrible either too hot or too cold"

"I would not recommend anyone stay here. The place was not clean, there was dirt all through the carpets and shaggy rugs especially, hair was left in the bathroom and the mats were dripping wet. We also found a large diet coke bottle under the bed and an unused cigarette. Also the bedroom door could not be shut from the outside without the handle coming off. If you are looking for somewhere cheap to stay, do not stay here. Pay a bit more for a better place."
