“The cottage has been recently updated. The interior looks brand new. The electric fireplace was very nice. I didn't have time to explore the property, because I was there mostly at night. I would definitely stay there again. Cell service isn't great, but it is great if you want to get away from, the stresses from everyday life. Bring an extra blanket if you are there when it is cold outside.”

“This was the perfect location for hosting a bachelorette party. Close to town but still semi-included. Host was great and notified us once the place was ready prior to check-in time and also allowed us to keep our car at the home a few hours after check out. The home is very spacious and receives beautiful natural lighting during the day. Deck was great, kitchen was stocked, and furniture was comfortable. “I really like this property! Everything that we wanted to do - Kayaking, Ziplining, Hiking, eating, shopping, was within about a 20-minute drive. A spacious property that is perfect for a couple's getaway. A lot of Pros and very few Cons, in my opinion. Pros: Very peaceful at night. “Booked for a weekend to go hiking in hocking hills! Enjoyed hikes at Old Man’s Cave, Conkle’s Hollow, and Rock House! The Cottage was cozy inside and very well taken care of. Found the cottage exactly as it appears online and it was perfect for us! Check in information is important to review before you get there as service is spotty out there but is provided well in advance to get you in smoothly. “My family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the cottage. It was well-equipped and conveniently located a short walk from the lake, downtown, and Hoover Auditorium. The air conditioning worked great on hot and humid days and on more pleasant days we especially enjoyed relaxing on the front porch. We would definitely stay there again.”
