I know the area well as I was visiting relatives and it suited my needs fine as a place to stay and spread out. "This was a lovely stay in a beautiful neighborhood of Alameda. The apartment was easy to access, clean and cozy. It felt like a mini vacation getaway even though I was there for work. And Marti was a lovely host."

"Great and quiet location. Easy access to public transportation. The place is clean, communication with manager is easy and prompt. I'd suggest a little more warmth to the home, such as rugs, mirrors, plants as well as more hangers and benches in the bedrooms so we can place clothes and miscellaneous stuff at an easy reach! Also, the description says there's a futon couch in the living room, but actually it is just a sectional couch with unremovable cushions, which isn't perfect for comfort....

"Greg & Blanca were accommodating hosts, even allowing me to check in early after a long flight from the east coast. They have a beautiful backyard with bamboo, lemon and palm trees. Though I didn't use them the outdoor jacuzzi and grill looked inviting. Inside, the queen bed was comfy, the shower provided ample hot water, and the complementary wine, tea & coffee was a welcome surprise. The location, being a couple blocks from both San Pablo and Solano, was ideal."
