Wonderful hotel and spa, the staff at the restaurant were perfect and took great care of us. Room was comfortable and cozy, small but enough space. The spa was exactly what we needed after the stress of the holidays. Thank you for a relaxing weekend.

The pools and saunas are amazing. Lots of naked folks, and some “textile free” pools and saunas, so if that’s not your jam, maybe go somewhere else. My adult daughters and I had a great (and separate) time however, everyone except the man at the front desk was super nice and no creepy vibes at all.

The Spa and Swimmingpools are really worth the 10€ extra! Very Nice and wide rooms. Top location, within 5 min walk of all the shopping streets. Tramstop just 1 minute walk. The little Square in front of the reception with the old church ist just lovely. Village feeling!

Our second time here - it’s an old school great German spa hotel, with the exceptional sauna complex (which includes rituals every hour from 13.00). It’s dated at parts but that’s compensated with the very fair value. The breakfast was plenty, the service kind and welcoming and the room large and clean. We will come back.

Needs and update!!

Rooms are not updated I payed a lot and hotel initially gave me an awful room I asked to change and got a slightly better room. Hotel needs refurb but all is happening is little bits of maintenance here and there rather than fixing the entire old and outdated bathrooms flooring and furniture.

The room was basic but nice. There was no AC buy I think that's common in Europe. There was a glass ring on the night stand from a previous guest so they could have cleaned better. The spa? Very relaxing and comfortable, and you can go naked! What fun. Overall well worth the price for the great deal I got.

Seedy dated nudist hotel, avoid

Appalling hotel with naked men lounging around in the rooftop bar. Nowhere on the listing or the hotel website does it prepare you for this. I am a professional female solo traveller, I do not want or need to enter a bar for dinner and be greeted by the sight of men with their 'bits' on full display. The hotel is absolutely not 4 star, it's 2 at best. The room itself was cheap, dark, dated and smelled of stale smoke. I booked it for the pool, which is an extra €10 a day PLUS another €8 for the compulsory robes and slippers. I didn't use it after being informed being naked is compulsory. No redeeming features in this hotel at all, avoid at all costs. Hotels.com were not at all interested in the fact their listing doesn't warn of the nudity or the potential safety issues.

Lovely Hotel. Sadly, we had a room from 3 adults shared . Entrance to our room facility was back outside and around the other side of the hotel which has a bit of a back alley feel to it( compared to the main entrance); Never felt part of the Hotel as there was no internal access . Room and space was excellent inside though, which was such a shame. Our room was also on the ground level where the window ledge attracted empty drink bottles from only god knows who…so couldn’t have a window open. i would stay there agin, but would book 2 double rooms instead (just to hopefully be in the main part of the hotel .

You need to walk in the rain to go to your room. At least 600 feet. Parking directions are lousy and manager was rude when ask for proper directions to the parking. To reach restaurant you need to go outside walk another 600 feet same for lobby, no fun when it rains. Would not recommend this hotel.

Excellent Spa facilities

Excellent spa services although not everyone followed the naked steam room, sauna policy. Hotel needs Air Con although a fan was provided but had to close windows due to street noise and tram noise but nothing could drown out the church bell. I was in room 209 which was at the front opposite the church. Well situated near Neumarkt for shops and local nightlife. Staff were very helpful. Stayed for 3 nights and would stay again, maybe in cooler months to negate lack of aircon. Restaurant and Bar are in same room, right by Spa entrance. It seemed a bit strange seeing people having a beer/drink at the bar in a bath robe whilst people were eating feet away in the Restaurant. In fact, you could have a meal in your bath robe in the restaurant. This is just probably a picky English point although I know my wife would have been a bit put off if she had been travelling with me.

The spa was excellent, however the biggest surprise was the proximity to the church and the bells ringing. It is to be expected on a Sunday, but surprised at the 7.30 awakening on Monday. The room was comfortable but too warm as there was no temperature control other than being able to open the window, which directly relates to previous point. The final surprise was that my room never got serviced during the 3 days I was there. Again a little surprising, as the least I would have expected was fresh towels each day. Maybe it was part of there environmental programme, but considering the amount of laundry they must go through as a spa resort, fresh towels for guests, shouldn't effect their footprint dramatically.

Spa was very nice, wasn’t prepared for the naked sauna’s though as wasn’t sure whether signage meant swimwear was optional or not allowed, probably an English thing, so avoided. Naked people wasn’t a problem to us but families with children should probably be made more aware.

Personal sehr gut, immer freundlich. Sauberkeit war auch in Ordnung. Das Zimmer war renovierungsbedürftig und auch der Flur etc. Überall hingen Kabel. Saunabereich wird aktuell neu gemacht. Warum der extra kostet, als Hotelgast ist mir auch Schleiwrhaft. Negativ: Gute Anknüpfung in die Kernstadt etc., allerdings überall Junkies, Drogenkonsumenten usw. Man fühlt sich sehr sehr unwohl, als Frau alleine würde ich dort nicht entlang wollen, obwohl auch Polizei vor Ort war. Restaurant erst ab 19 Uhr geöffnet, davor eine kleine nicht nennenswerte Karte… Das Klo auf dem Zimmer ist so nah an der Dusche, dass man nasse Füße hat(sofern davor jemand geduscht hat) oder aber man nichts aufs Klo kann, wegen dem Glas (zu eng). Alles in allem eher ein 2,5 Sterne Hotel anstatt 4.
