"We struggled with the VRBO app as they made changes. The owner was prompt with all questions and had to be a little creative to get what we needed to us. We enjoyed the quiet, the turtle doves, with the screened in porch looking out to the lake being our go to spot. The beds and bedding made our sleep comfortable. I will return if I go to Phoenix again."

"Desert Shores was as perfect a location that you can get. It was centrally located and close to everything. Our condo was fabulous. Very clean and very well stocked with anything you need as far as housewares are concerned. Our host was great, I never needed to talk to her, but she kept in contact via e-mail throughout our stay. Comforting to know she was available and concerned on how our stay was. How ever you grade 10 out 10, 5 stars or AAA, Desert Shores was that good for us."

For the adventurous, ask for one of the rooms up the hill. Your legs will get a bit of a workout, but the view is amazing. Oh, and make sure your car has good brakes."

"We traveled with our pet and the townhouse and surrounding grounds were perfect for our dog to have room to walk and explore. Very quiet and safe area. Covered parking was near the townhouse and was convenient. The property inside and out was very clean, the rooms spacious and the furnishings were comfortable. Plenty of linens were provided and the washer and dryer on property came in handy. However, a plumbing upgrade is needed. Hot water was a bit sporadic, the tub was slippery and the shower...

"The pool and spa were not available for use. I do not remember seeing anything about this on the website when booked. I booked this hotel because I like to swim at night and in the morning when I come to Phoenix. The staff advised the pool had been down for two weeks already and would be another two weeks all for maintenance. "

"Fun property, great room. Loved that the bedroom was separate. Pools were awesome! It is great that there were adult-only areas. Only drawback is the parking. There is no parking close to our room and it was quite a hike to bring our gear in the heat. Otherwise, good experience."
