Quiet time in nature
Wonderful property. The directions from the host were really helpful. The bed was so comfortable, we're going to buy a new mattress! Lovely and quiet. Lots of birds. We inconvenienced the owner by not knowing our check out date, which she was gracious about. Then my husband lost his wallet, and Beth looked for us. Great host!

Comfy bed!
Small, but cute place. Not ideal for teen kids (mine were not enthused), but would have been nice for a couple. Hot tub was nice n hot and clean! No frills or extras - don't forget to bring snacks. There is biting near by!

Beautiful location
This property is in a stunning location with a beautiful view. The place was spotlessly clean and had everything you need for a comfortable stay. The hosts were super friendly and helpful and made sure I had everything I needed. Highly recommend staying here if you’re visiting the area. Lots of great hiking near by and close enough to restaurants and other activities.

Enchanting Escape: A Five-Star Retreat with Breathtaking Views and Gracious Host
An absolute gem! I wish I could give this home more than five stars. The location is breathtaking, the room is beautifully appointed with unbeatable views. The symphony of frogs at night was a lullaby. The hot tub and sauna are divine, set amidst beautiful grounds. Beth, the host, is fantastic! A perfect retreat.

The property was up a secluded windy road. Really felt isolated and beautiful. Lovely frog and nature sounds at night. Raining while we stayed so didn’t try out the hot tub, but bet it would have been nice!

Unique, secluded down-time haven
Second time at this property this time on my own, and a great spot to stay to go Point Reyes, and areas east-San Rafael, Novato. Extremely quiet, with woods and sometimes wildlife, like deer. No TV, radio, cell phone coverage is spotty. Depending on your carrier... This is the place to unplug.

Fabulous
Not only is the house and room great and put together very be well, the location is the best if you want a quiet and peaceful…fantastic and we will be back as I come to the area for work a few times a year. The jacuzzi also really helps after a day of whatever!

Beautiful surroundings, nature everywhere! We saw a fox along the roadway, deer and there was quiet all around. Because of clouds, didn't see night skies, but likely can at different times of year. This was great place to be to attend a concert at Rancho Nicasio. Cozy room with fridge, bedding, good workspace desk, microwave, dishes...all as described.

My friend and I enjoyed staying at this Studio in Paradise. The place was convenient to where we were going and the accommodations are nice. We especially enjoyed the hot tub and the view. The host is super nice. The unit was equipped for two separate people to stay and we are very grateful we chose this place.

Beautiful location. Perfect directions from host. (Google maps brought us right here also) Great hot tub. The stargazing must be incredible up here. We had clouds and or fog roll in just before sunset. If your looking for a place to relax. This is it.

Wonderful night in a quiet, welcoming place
I really enjoyed my stay at Robert's house. He provided very detailed directions to get to the house, which were much needed since I arrived in the night. The place was extremely clean and well-appointed, and the bed was very comfortable to lay my head on after many hours of driving. You can hear the gentle sounds of frogs outside the room and the view of the forest is calming. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking to visit Point Reyes or any other nearby area!

I wish I could leave a positive review but we had a terrible experience. First of all the owner did not contact me with directions and his phone number until 8:22 p,m. on the day we were to arrive. I told him in the first e-mail that we were coming in to go to a dinner show at Rancho Nicasio which started at 6:30 p.m. that day. We tried to GPS the property and there was no sign on the road to indicate the street we were to take. When we finally guessed what could be the road we could not believe the road up to the place. It was mostly a single lane road which was not fully paved and had two blind turns and to blind hills. We bottomed out our car on one of the ruts in the road. It was a hair raising white knuckle drive to say the least. When we arrived at around 3:30 p.m. there was a pickup truck and a shipping container in the driveway so there was nowhere to really park. As I did not have instructions as to where the guest room was I waited and nobody came out. Remember I did not have the owner's phone number so I could not contact him. Finally we left mostly because of the harrowing drive up which was difficult in the light there was no way I would try that drive at night after the dinner show. To say we were disappointed would be an understatment. We paid for a night and wasted our money. I would advise against booking this place.

Beautiful getaway!
My stay was excellent!! The instructions to get there were super clear, and there was a cute little wildflower bouquet set out for us and some nice instructions about hiking in the area. I really enjoyed the pond in the backyard which was full of cute little tadpoles!! I liked the feeling of peace in the space and feeling isolated from all my worries.

Sweet sweet getaway!!
This place more than met my expectations!! I was looking to be in nature and to immerse my body in hot water. Bonus points , they had an awesome “handstand” deck!! One of my favorite pass times is to play upside down, outside in a beautiful setting…and this happened. Beth and Robert were super helpful and available and gave space. Feeling like a deep connection was made. I am grateful. 🙏

This cozy space is nestled within the redwoods of this beautiful mountain spot. Need peace and quiet? A sky filled with stars? This is the place for you. The deck and hot tub are there for you to enjoy.
