"If you are wanting a unique place to stay this is the place. 1st the owner is super friendly and informative. Dave the day shift front desk staff such a warm and welcoming man. Building has it all cafe on lower level, art, beautiful architecture and rooms, our suite had a balcony which was perfect for coffee in the morning and small kitchenette . You’ll feel like part of the neighborhood at this hotel. 24/7 deli around corner too"

"We really appreciated this apartment while traveling with our toddler, who was quite overwhelmed by the city. It was such a quiet, spacious, calm place to return to. We could have used a curtain to better block the light for sleeping and a sharper knife (we must be the only people who cooked so much during a stay in NYC...as I said, our kiddo didn't love going out on the town), but other than that, the stay was perfect. "This was a nice place to stay in Jersey City and was centrally located to many bars/restaurants as well as a 13 minute walk from the Grove Street and Exchange Place lightrails. Host was very responsive to questions. There were a few times when the host wanted to show the apartment to prospective renters while we were staying there, which wasn't a huge deal but was an inconvenience."

"There are good and bad things. Communication with host was superb. Mattresses are good. Spacious for spreading out. However. The host asks for no shoes inside but the ceramic tile is FREEZING cold and has many, many cracks (with loose pieces), so it’s not a logical request. They don’t want food in livingroom but for a space that sleeps 8, there’s only a small kitchen table. Another illogical request. Mattresses may be good but pillows are terrible.
