"This is a very unique hotel. It is comprised of several buildings that are connected. It is very clean, comfortable with a staff that goes above and beyond with their service. Breakfast was served in a delightful annex. The host there was fantastic. The gentleman at the front desk was extremely helpful regarding areas and museums we wished to tour. "A genuine old Dutch rowhouse with a few rooms (with baths) up a flight of very steep stairs. Very quaint and comfortable. Convenient to the Anne Frank House, great restaurants and shopping, and a block from the tram that goes to the museum plaza and the central train station, if you don’t feel like walking. Some outside noise if you’re in the front room. Someone will carry your luggage up and down the steep staircase for you, but don’t reserve if you have difficulty walking or climbing. "

"Spent 2 nights here visiting the National Park De Biesbosch. We had amazing October weather and loved walking around the wetlands - so peaceful and lots of wildlife. The hotel was quiet as out of season but the buffet breakfast was good and the set evening meal was lovely. The restaurant is closed during the week but there is a set evening menu for the guests. The staff were lovely and the hotel was spotlessly clean. The rooms are a little dated but very spacious with 2 armchairs and the beds...
