This Hotel did not disappoint. The rooms are extremely comfortable with excellent bedding ( including mattress) Staff were all very accommodating Restaurants are top notch The Beaux Art style of the hotel is spectacular and nothing like you see even at a 5 star hotel Nashville is a busy place obviously and The Hermitage is a welcoming haven after a day of sight seeing etc

This property was a number 1 from the time we pulled up to the time we left for home. The staff was superb and always available. Rooms were very clean and decorated nicely.

Telephone didn't work -needed to be re-wired. Notice said restaurant would be closed for a private event a 10AM and when I got there at 9:20 the hostess said she couldn't seat me due to the event. I told her I would be quick and could be out by 9:50 - still no and she couldn't give me another restaurant in walking distance to have breakfast. I ended up eating at the Shereton.

If you like amazing historical hotels, very nice rooms, wonderful food, and some $200 a glass very rare whiskey, I believe you need to make a reservation soon. If you prefer less, I suggest you don’t bother, for its not that you’re not welcome, it’s because you have yet to appreciate such things in life. I work hard and so at times I enjoy the moment. This place you will remember.

The hotel, service, staff, and restaurants were all fabulous. Likely the finest independent hotel I have had the pleasure of staying at for years. I would recommend anyone planning to visit Nashville consider staying at this hotel. While it is not inexpensive, with Expedia I was able to secure a four night stay here with airfare from Chicago for less that it would have cost if I booked a Hilton or other upscale chain hotel and airfare separately. Even though I booked through Expedia they still upgraded my room without asking and treated me as well as if I had booked directly and paid full price. Many of the staff have worked at the hotel for years suggesting that hotel management knows how to treat their employees...all of which were courteous and exceptional in the treatment of their guests. The gift shop also offered an unusual assortment of gifts more than suitable for a great gift to bring home to the wife.

This is truly a must stay in Nashville, with an amazing bar, cafe/bar and restaurant in a beautifully renovated hotel. The check in was the only downside as they didn’t have record of my reservation, no apology but instead patronizing attitude and didn’t honor the reservation rate.

Staying at the Hermitage Hotel is like going back to a time when elegance and refinement mattered. The beautiful lobby evokes memories of the gilded age. The staff could not be more accommodating. The rooms are large and well appointed. Little attention to details like the Frette Turkish towels, luxurious bath robes, Molton and Brown toiletries, scrumptious Meringues with turn down service, umbrellas for rainy walks, choice of pillows and Sonoma Cutrer Chardonnay in the mini fridge made our stay enjoyable. Drusie and Darr was fabulous as well!

My wife and I are local so we seldom stay downtown but decided since it was our 45th wedding anniversary we would try the Hermitage Hotel. What a treat! Every aspect of the hotel was elegant without being stuffy. Our room was magnificent with an unobtrusive view of the state capital. It was convenient to the Ryman Auditorium were we had booked a concert for the evening an also to Broadway where the action is. We will definitely stay there again.

To whom it may concern, I recently stayed 2 nights at your Nashville location, Saturday September 23-September 25. My experience with the bathtub ( sincerely main and only reason i booked this hotel as bathtubs are hard to find. The second night trying to take a bath the water was yellow. I didn't realize it until it was filled up. I thought perhaps something was in the tub causing the discoloration. I rinsed the tub and washed it down and refilled watching it come out this time and it was coming out yellow from the faucet. I brought this to the attention of the manager at the hotel and was comped parking. I was already promised complimentary parking from the hotels.com agent by the name of Anne. I would like a refund of 1 night and feel this is fair considering the circumstances. I have been ill since returning and can provide medical bills to be reimbursed if this is not going to be addressed. The manger at the hotel advised me to contact him and I have now 2 x and have been ignored. I look forward to hearing back to address this matter prior to escalating things further. Thank you,
