Tolo a very pretty place
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Tolo. It was a handy location to visit Nafplion, Argos and Epidaurus. A lovely place to come home to each night.

Beautiful Peloponese
Very spacious apartments, well equipped and clean. Good breakfast and nice pool. Overall, cosy athmosphere ih the hotel. Fantastic owner and staff, very helpful! The area is beautiful, the sea, beaches and the nature. Ancient Mycaena, Epidaurus and Naflpio is highly recommened to visit! We enjoyed our holiday!

A very well run apart hotel, very clean and beautifully decorated. The management and the staff are outstanding, very helpful and ready to solve any problem. The breakfast is freshly made every morning. The higher floor apartments have the most spectacular view in Tolo. We were a family of two adults and two young children and we all enjoyed the stay and the impeccable service.

Simple clean hotel, good value option.
A nice simple clean hotel. Management were superb, very welcoming & nothing was too much trouble. Beautiful pool area, beautiful views from our sea view apartment & a nice seating area with a simple but nice buffet breakfast (at cost). Parking onsite. Downfalls; no shops close by for necessities, you need to walk a steep hill down 10 mins (& back up) to get to shops or drive. What was advertised as a double bed was 2 single beds pushed together with 2 separate single sheets. Bed was only dressed with bottom sheet, you had to make the rest. Bed was very soft, pillows were lumpy (felt like pieces of foam broken up inside).

Great family time in Tolo
The staff and the owner were VERY friendly and helpful. They helped to highlight things to do, areas to see and how to get the most of our stay in Tolo. The breakfast was nice, the pool was nice and the views from our balcony were great. Tolo was a great little town, close to everything and very kind people. Highly recommended and not too far from Athens.

Super clean, spacious aparthotel in Tolo.
This was a great hotel during our road trip through the Peloponnese. My husband, two teenagers and I only stayed one night but it was a great choice. Immaculately clean with probably the most comfortable beds/sheets we had in Greece, and cute, bright, cheery furnishings. It was a nice change from the typical older, dark European hotels at that price point. One thing to note, it's not in Nafplion--it's about a 10 minute drive aways in Tolo, but in the end, we preferred that actually. Our room had an amazing view of the water and a spacious deck and living area. The staff was extremely helpful, friendly and available. There's a nice pool that we all enjoyed after a day of sightseeing. The breakfast was huge and yummy---with lots of homemade breads, yogurts, hot items. Definitely stay here!

The owner, Yiannis, is a charming, knowledgeable and EXTREMELY helpful and accommodating person-------a very special thanks to him. Thank you, as well, to the beautiful and charming "Stavroula". The rooms, although small, we're extremely well done and our "apartment" had two balconies with sensational views. Overall, probably the nicest hotel we've stayed in thus far in our 20 of 44 day trip. We would stay here again, "in a New York minute". Having said that, for the off season, the nightly rate was a bit high and without breakfast, which was an additional 5 Euros ( $6.50 USD), per person additional. When booking with hotels.com I am nearly certain it showed "buffet breakfast included", but after we booked it was NOT included.

The rooms are lovely & it is definitely worth staying if you have your own transport..I was travelling by bus, so it was more difficult to get around. I had good views & was happy with it there, but could have done without the 3 bus loads of school kids that were staying there at the same time as me!!

silent place - nice view - fine pool place - not too far from the beach - great rooms with huge balcony, and big and comfortable main bed... but typical Greek... bad covers - and the additional bed for the children... could be better...

Tolo...great stay
I definitely recommend this stay. It is clear the owners take great pride in their property, their customers, and satisfaction. The hotel is on the hill with a fantastic view and beautiful pool. While there is a short steep walk to town, in three blocks you are right where you want to be. You won't find such a nice hotel any closer. Best stay in Greece, and all were good. We visited Epidavros (35 min), Napflio (10), Palamidi Fortress (10). The beach in Tolo is nice and very recreational. The beach past Nafplio and Palimidi is fantastic. I have 13 and 14 year old girls and Tolo offered them a safe independence for shopping and hanging out without Dad.

We stayed at the Amaryllis for 10 nights and can recommend it. We found the staff absolutely excellent, nothing was too much trouble and they put the effort in to make our stay very enjoyable. The pool is not huge but was more than adequate for our needs. The views from the hotel are stunning - our garden view looked out onto a terrace but the sea views have great views across the bay. Breakfast was good - much better than we expected. The building is in great condition and the decor fresh - an advantage of the hotel only being a few years old. The only slight negative about the hotel is that it is up a hill therefore wouldn't recommend it for the less mobile. Overall though we would definitely stay there again should we return to Tolo.

Coup de cœur à Tolo / Nauplie
Tout à fait exceptionnel! Le village de Tolo est tellement sympathique, les gens sont accueillant et que dire du propriétaire de l’hôtel et de son personnel, d’une gentillesse irréprochable. On nous a même donner un appartement supérieur à la réservation et un cadeau de départ de la part du proprio.

Das Hotel liegt am Hang, sodass man einen wunderschönen Blick auf die ganze Stadt und die Bucht hat. Das Apartment ist sehr großzügig und hat einen großen Balkon. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist kompakt, jedoch sehr lecker..

Das Hotel liegt oberhalb von Tolo; vom Balkon hat man einen tollen Blick aufs Meer. Über eine steile Straße kommt man zum Strand, ca. 400m. Frühstück ist ok, Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Kochgelegenheit im Zimmer. Ablagemöglichkeiten für Kleidung im Schrank sind für einen längeren Aufenthalt zu wenig.

A pleasant, family friendly hotel
We had a really good stay at the hotel. 2 parents and 2 kids 8&5 yo. The staff arranged all we asked, if it was atoaster for the room or a super quick fix in the room's shower... very pleasant and cosy hotel. We ordered a sea view a sea view room, and the view is indeed great. Keep in mind there's a walk to the town center. And a short drive to the better beach of tolo. Breakfast was really nice.

Tolo est une petite station balnéaire très peu voire pas renseignée par les tour operators. J'ai donc été surpris d'être accueilli à l'Amaryllis aparthotel par une dame parlant parfaitement le français. Très bon prix pour un logement impeccable très bien entretenu

Super Service en prachtig uitzicht
Bij aankomst bleek dat er iets misgegaan was met het emailverkeer en zij hadden ons niet meer verwacht. Hierdoor was er geen kamer met zeezicht meer. Wij kregen daardoor de "villa" een heerlijk vakantiehuisje voor het hotel. Het hotel zelf is een beetje ouwbollig, je hebt ook weinig privacy op de balkonnetjes. Het ontbijt is prima, het zwembad is heerlijk en service excellent. Tolo zelf is ons iets te toeristisch, maar Nafplio is prachtig.

En famille, petit appartement fonctionnel et propre. Le lit d'appoint n'est pas à la hauteur; le confort n'est pas au rendez-vous. Ah petit déjeuner, du vrai jus d'orange serait apprécié à la place de leur jus chimique et acide. Le parking est bienvenu.

Γενικά το ξενοδοχείο θα το χαρακτήριζα καλό. Το πρωίνο ήταν καλό, το δωμάτιο ήταν ευρύχωρο, το προσωπικό ευγενικό. Η καθαριότητα όμως όλου του ξενοδοχείου δεν με ικανοποίησε. Κάτω απ' το κρεβάτι είχε πάρα πολυ σκόνη που σημαίνει ότι δε καθαρίζεται, στο μπανιο μύριζε πολύ η αποχέτευση και δεν άνοιγε το παράθυρο. Η κουρτίνα του σαλονιού ήταν λερωμένη και επισης η μπαλκονόπορτα του δωματίου ηταν χαλασμένη και δε σφράγιζε. Η πισίνα τις δύο πρώτες μέρες είχε φύλλα μεσα. Μετά την παρατήρησή μοθ δεν ξαναείδα. Επίσης, απαράδεκτη η καθαρίστρια, η οποία στο καθημερινή καθαριότητα, έστρωσε αναποδα τη κουβέρτα και πέταξε τα μαξιλάρια όπως να 'ναι στο κρεβάτι που στο ένα σχεδόν, κόντευε να βγει η μαξιλαροθήκη. Η θέα στη θάλασσα ήταν ικανοποιητική, όπως φαίνεται στις φωτογραφίες, παρόλο που είχαμε το πιο ακριανό δωμάτιο.

Une très bonne adresse à Tolo
Accueil très sympathique. Hotel sur les hauteurs de Tolo (accès difficile à pieds depuis le bord de mer car très très en pente), très propre avec vue splendide sur la baie de Tolo. Belles terrasses. Petit déjeuner copieux, le yaourt grec maison est excellent, mais dommage que certains produits soient trop industriels : confitures, jus de fruit,.... La piscine est de taille correcte tout à fait suffisante, très propre. Tolo ne présente en revanche que peu d'intérêt : aucun charme, contrairement à Nauplie qui est magnifique. Tolo est une "station balnéaire" plutôt "moche" mais bien placée pour les différents sites : Mycene, Epidaure, ... Plus point de départ d'une croisière à la journée vers Hydra et Spetses.

Vi var ensamma på hotellet och ägaren var väldigt uppmärksam på oss. Eftersom vi kom helt off season är det svårt att uttala sig om orten Tolo. Rummet var fräscht och nymålat, duschen funkade och vi kunde själv ställa in värmen. Tyvärr serverades inte frukost, men vi fixade själva på affären bara några steg bort. Vacker utsikt från balkongen!
